My wife ordered the baby back ribs, which looked promising — right up until she tried to eat them. They were so dry I think we both heard them crack when she cut in. “Fall off the bone”? Nope. More like claw your way to freedom. The BBQ sauce was alright, but the coleslaw… yikes. It tasted like someone accidentally left it in the sun and then forgot to add flavor when they remembered it existed.
I went with the Prime Rib Dip, expecting something rich and juicy. Instead, I got thin, dry slices of meat that no amount of au jus could resurrect. The fries were the only survivors — crispy, seasoned, and actually edible.
The bartender was friendly, and the atmosphere was solid. But when the fries and the decor are the highlights, that’s not exactly a win.
If you’re in the area and starving, sure, it’ll do. But if you’re thinking of driving out of your way for it — don’t. Gas is too expensive for disappointment.
The staff were quick, precise, and friendly on the occasion I brought my family of 12 in to sit and eat. May I mention that this was during graduation? I was excited to be proven right finally as the food came out to us. However, I was ,again, caught completely off guard by a well designed and stunning plate.
The taste of my Pesto Pasta Chicken plate was to die for. I shall try my damnest to make this plate at home. The food was not only tasty, but an awesome price for such a large portion of food.
Thank you, South Fork Public House! I shall be frequenting you more!
Staff is friendly and energetic. They have indoor and outdoor tables. Decoration is industrial style with high ceilings ans silver touches.
In my visit I got a Combo with soup and salad, Salmon is also very good it comes with mash potatoes and asparagus . Portions were enough and the taste was fresh. Definetely come back and try different dishes with a local beer.
The Pretzels – These are insane. (pic shows two, but you get 4) Perfectly soft on the inside, but the best part? The crispy and almost donut like texture on the outside. House mustard and cougar gold cheese as dipping sides were delicious.
The Food – I had a pasta special that was outstanding and full of flavor. My bf had a cheesesteak which was also delightful (and smothered in more Cougar gold).
The Dessert – when someone calls a dessert life-changing, I’m admittedly skeptical. But this deep fried cookie dough… was, indeed, life changing. Our server was right. It may have given me diabetes but at least I’ll die with a smile on my face, in a chocolatey paradise.
The drinks – I had a seasonal Moscow Mule which was so good I had to have a second… and my bf enjoyed a very well made Old Fashioned.
