Thanksgiving lunch for family of 4 should have been easy with such few customers. My tips were tuff but eatable. Fish and chips were so overcooked there was nothing there. Chicken tips were hard and dry. AND the $32 ribeye ordered medium rare was blueish purple and cold throughout. A bloody mess. We sent it back and it finally came back exactly as before. The poor waitress was fantastic, not her fault. We paid for that trash and brought it home to finish cooking it. They absolutely didn’t deserve to be paid a nickel for anything but it was family get together. Never going back. Enjoy the photo and remember it was sent back!

Today after church ⛪️ my husband Dennis and I went with our family Kristin, Matt and my best little buddy Kelton to Mt. Airy NC. We went to Dodge City Steakhouse in Mount Airy to eat for the first time.
I want to brag about the service and food. The service from the server and everyone else was IMPECCABLE. The overall atmosphere was enjoyable as well. The food was GREAT AND WORTH going! The portions were worth the price. It was not skimpy on the food portions they brought to us.
You didn’t meet no stranger either. Everyone including the patrons that were there were nice and friendly.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU TRY THIS RESTAURANT. I GIVE THEM A 10.

I am not the one to complain. I went there for valentines day. We sat at the bar. The bartender was super busy but still made an effort to take care of us. We wait over 2 hours for our food and we got the valentine special. My steak was more fat then meat, I asked for well done and got medium rare. (I would have sent it back but I wasn’t ready to wait any longer) our steaks were cold and our fries tasted like they been sitting all day. We didn’t get our appetizer until the main course and it was cold as well. This was nothing to do with our server, the cook was constantly talking, piddling, and not focusing on how busy they was and barley cooked the food and took his sweet time with everything. This was my Fiancé first time there and I wish he got a better experience and a better taste of the food.

Food was disgusting. Waitress did a fantastic job even though the food was horrible. Took 45-50 minutes without being busy for a burger and chopped steak. The burger was a hockey puck, solid and burnt, order came out wrong. The chopped steak is in the photo, nothing more that a frozen bubba patty. Overall a horrible lunch, would not recommend

I was in Mount Airy visiting family and we decided to try Dodge City Steakhouse for dinner. I ordered the 12-ounce ribeye steak, asking for it medium rare, but it came out more like medium well. Unfortunately, it didn’t have much flavor, which was a bit disappointing. I also got a side salad—nothing special, but it was fresh and good (hard to mess up a salad).
I ordered an unsweet iced tea, but what I got was so light it was almost clear—tasted more like water than tea.
On a positive note, our server Gary was excellent—friendly, attentive, and probably the best part of the experience.
I wouldn’t rule this place out entirely; I might give it another shot in the future, hoping for a better steak next time.

We had a great experience. The restaurant looked a bit understaffed because there was a large party, but we didnt feel ignored at all. Gary P was our server and he was funny and personable and easy going. We got onion blooms (or petals, IDK the name exactly) and they were delicious. The house salad was big enough to be its own meal and also very good. Hubs got a chicken fried steak and we would not recommend because it wasn’t very tender and I got southwest chicken and it was tasty, though I could only take a few bites because I was already full from the salad. The dinner rolls were buttery, soft, and almost like a dessert. It was our first time there and we would go back (just get different antres).

I want a salad and a potato, that was my orders for dinner, we where seated quick, hot rolls and sweet tea followed, then the food comes out “sorry we are out of tomato’s” how do you call yourself a destination, when you cant keep vegetables on hand, after the meal, I tipped the server,thanked him for the excellent service, reminded him the steak was mediocre, and not having salad fixings was unacceptable.

Absolutely one of the worst dining experiences that I have ever had.
My grandkids were hungry.
They took forever for drinks, we had to beg for our salads which they had no honey mustard dressing, brought right as the steaks came.
The sirloin steaks were mostly gristle. We left plates full of unchewable sirloin on the table and went to Burger King across the road for a whopper and I hate Burger King but was starving. The manager cut the bill in half. Leaving $44 for a Mountain Dew, 3 salads and baked potatoes. Steak was not edible.

took my family of 11 to eat for Thanksgiving i was impressed to be seated quickly. Xavier was our waiter. This young man never let any of our drinks get low, kept us stocked in warm rolls, and catered to our every request, all while doing the same for his other tables. As busy as they were becoming he did all this with a sense of humor and a smile. The food was good, rolls and cinnamon butter amazing. When we return we will be asking for Xavier specifically.

While on vacation, my friend wanted to visit a steakhouse. This place was recommended by Gypsy Moon. Overall, it was a great place. I didn’t give 5 stars for the atmosphere ONLY because we had to walk past the bar to get to the dining area and the restrooms were by the bar. That’s merely my personal taste because I don’t drink. It would’ve been nicer, for non-drinkers, if you could go to the dining area without having to go by the bar.
The prices were about average for a steakhouse; About $20 – $25 per person. Our waitress was amazing! She recommended dishes and answered our questions. She was friendly and helpful and spent time patiently waiting on us, even though they were super busy. She was probably the best part of this experience.
I didn’t give 5 stars for food, even though it was pretty good and large portion sizes, because my steak was supposed to have been butterflied, which it wasn’t, and I asked for extra well done and it came out pink in the middle. I did end up sending it back, even though I cringe about doing that because I’ve heard horror stories about that kind of stuff, and when my steak came back out, it was perfect, but they forgot to bring my fries out with it. Not a big deal, with such an amazing waitress, she had my fries brought back out within minutes and the rest of the meal went without any further problems. I will note that my steak was tough, but it takes a very rare chef to make a well done steak and keep it tender, so I didn’t mind too much there, especially having been cooked a second time.
I paid a small upcharge for a salad and expected a side salad, like most restaurants give, but got a huge bowl instead, which could’ve been a meal on its own. Overall, it was a decent experience here, with the best part of it being the wait staff. I would recommend this place.
