We ordered take out this morning. My husband got a skillet and it was burnt all throughout. I had the chicken tenderloin, fries and coleslaw. The only good thing was the coleslaw. The food was very greasy and the fries had no flavor. I was not impressed with this food at all and in disbelief of the quality of food that was served after all of the positive things I’ve heard.

Great service, food was great. Grits was little dry but thankful they carry grits at all. Eggs were very good. Not sure what they grease pan with but both fried and scrambled eggs were outstanding. Toast was crunchy. Bacon was very good, hash browns made perfectly . Pricing is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

So I stopped here 6/25 for the first time- and it’s gonna be the last time. I ordered the light breakfast with a cup of gravy. Food comes out less than ten minutes later and I leave to go to work. I sit down to enjoy my breakfast when lo and behold- there’s no gravy that was paid for. I move onto the breakfast; hash browns were pretty meh, but the kicker was the curly hair I found in the toast.
Friggin unbelievable! At least the waitress was nice….

The best breakfast restaurant in Peoria/Peoria Heights IL. Love that they serve breakfast all day and everything on their menu is delicious. Great prices and laid back kid friendly atmosphere. Worth waiting for a table during busy times.

We were there on Sunday 12/21/25 for lunch. The food was not bad, and the waitress, Rebecca, did a good job! However, we were seated next to the bus tub and the staff was quickly tossing dishes into the tub which clattered loudly and often. This made it very hard to talk to the others at the table. Then, when the kitchen staff came to collect the full bus tub they swung it around and sloshed dirty “water” all over the back of my husband and myself. My dad said something to the manager, but she didn’t come apologize to us, nor did she comp either of our meals.
We will not be back.

Breakfast skillets are great. We get them every Thursday. I wanted to get one this Sunday they don’t offer take out orders on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Last Thursday I ordered over the phone and the lady said it would be ready in 15 minutes. My finance went and picked it up 15 minutes later and ended up waiting an extra 20 minutes at the restaurant for our two skillets.
Honestly probably not gonna order here during the weekends because who wants to wait in the restaurant while fighting to put in order against church crowd. I’m definitely not gonna wait 35 minutes like Thursday. Should let us order head and just pick it up, if not our $35 breakfast bill can just go to another restaurant every week.

Disappointing. Link sausage saving grace of the meal, delicious. Biscuit of biscuits and gravy were overcooked and the texture was off-putting, gravy was a bit sweet. Sourdough toast was enjoyable. Scrambled eggs were overcooked, sunny-side-up eggs under done. Panfried hash browns were average. Raspberry tea was also very good. The service was excellent, our server was friendly and efficient, knew her stuff! Will not be returning.
