This is a classic dive bar/restaurant- and I mean that in the most complimentary way! Just locals and a splash of tourists that want good food, a cold drink, for a fair price. The Pulled Pork is the star of the show, but all the food is great. I even loved the sides like the cold slaw and fried Okra! The special today was a red fish sandwich – great fish but a bit too much bread.

We ate here 3 days in a row as its that good! THE BEST beans and cole slaw we’ve ever had ribs, chicken and burger also great. Not fussed on the shaved brisket but to be fair the server did warn us that’s how they serve it. We’ll be back when we’re next in the area for sure!

I hate giving less than perfect reviews, and feel bad, but I have to be honest. We had high hopes, but were disappointed in the ribs. All we could taste was ash and they were luke warm. BUT, the menu is so big, I’m sure there are other really yummy things. The side salad was very nicely done.

We are traveling and just decided it was time for BBQ….. we liked the idea of a locally owned joint. This place fit the bill. Great atmosphere….friendly service. The food was good but not the best compared to some. The full rack of ribs was perfectly cooked and very meaty. I didnt get a real smokey florvor and the rub was kinda delicate. I ordered sauce on the side and once i added sauce the flavor imptoved. The sauce is very good. I look for great carrot cake every where i go and this plsce offers a carrot cake that compares with dome of the best.

If I could give 20 starts I will. Shane the owner (without saying he was the owner )0
went above and beyond. My 3 yr old at the time of ordering he asked (Shane ) for chips and since they don’t have chips, he send one of the girls to his car to get my son some Cheetos . My son was so happy . Maggie made us feel at home . Is my first time here and it won’t be my last. The food is delicious, hotcakes are super big and taste amazing. My husband loved the biscuits and gravy!!! Love it !!

Great experience at Sauced Hogs. We had a group of nine people going to a concert that was canceled and decided to get some barbecue. None of us had been to Sauced Hogs but the establishment was recommended by some friends. They were right, the experience was very good. It started a bit disheveled as no one greeted us as we walked in and we had no idea if we had to wait to be seated or not. A line quickly formed at the door yet no one came to help. I went to the bar and again had to wait for a bartender who finally said we were to find our own seating. We pushed a few tables together but a waiter came by and said we couldn’t do that near the rear door but didn’t do anything to help (you could tell he was slammed as it was very busy). We split into 2 tables and after quite a wait he came back to get drink orders. The waiter was really good and very helpful, he quickly realized non of us had been there before and gave us recommended choices. He kept our glasses full until the food finally arrived. The order seemed to take forever but the place was packed. The food was worth the wait. The prime rib is smoked so nothing like the prime rib in a steak place. It was one of the best prime rib meals I have ever had. The vegetables were also grilled and had a wonderful smoked flavor too. Most were satisfied with their food choices. I will definitely be back for their prime rib!!!

We came in and it was a sit where ever type of scene. Our waiter was a big man seemed nice but took awhile to get us our drinks food seemed to be at a decent time but we were never checked on while eating by bf and I was there on his lunch so we needed to leave and we couldn’t get our waiters attention at all. A female waitress came by our table and asked if we needed anything we needed our check and I made sure to give her the tip as just the small amount of service she gave us it felt caring and definitely felt like she was doing her job and then some.

By far the best BBQ around. Everything smoked on site. Make sure you get there early on Saturday evening. The ribs feel off the bone, the pulled pork sandwich was delicious. Loaded mash, fried okra and their Ruben rolls were sooooo goooood!

The pulled pork is some of the best I’ve had, and I recommend it to anyone looking for smoked pork. Stopped in tonight for prime rib. It was more than a disappointment. Asked for medium rare. One serving was well, the other was medium, and both were as tough as shoe leather. If we were eating in, I would have sent it back and asked for pulled pork instead. Casey the server was very good, service with a smile!
