Incredibly wonderful atmosphere and staff. The food is so delicious! I ordered flautas de Pollo with a seasonal margarita. My wife ordered nachos a la gaby. Highly recommend this place!!

Fun, beautiful place that we went to after the Borscht Belt film festival. The mushroom quesadillas and black bean soup were delicious.

Gonna say. I’ve been to over 75 different Mexican restaurants over the years. That was the best chimichanga I’ve ever had. And it was ice cold. Honestly this place is fantastic. But for some reason the chimichanga was ice cold. I don’t know if it was just it finished first before the other three meals but it was fantastic. But cold. Did I tell you it was cold? Would be a five if it wasn’t. I will be back to see if it was a one time thing.

The rice was dry and appeared to be made from a box. The black beans tasted as though they were poured straight out of a can. I ordered plantains and expected….plantains but instead I was served a very low level impersonation of dried (if you can believe that), fried, bland chunks of plantains….absolutely nothing had any taste, no flavor. Extremely disappointing. My guest had tacos and enjoyed them except he requested no cilantro but got some anyway. Due to the appearance of my food, I did not finish and once I got home I was sick for literally hours. I wouldn’t go back if the they were giving away food for free. ON A GOOD NOTE: our server was extremely kind and attentive. The inside is welcoming and comfortable but you can get that from a multitude of eateries. It’s typically the food that keeps people coming back and BASED IN WHAT I ATE (AND THEN HAD MY BODY REJECT QUICKLY) they need to make real improvements. I’m giving one star because of my server alone.

As a Texan, I’m always abit suspect of Tex-Mex/ Mexican food so far north, but Gabys exceeded expectations… excellent quesadilla, well seasoned and moist chicken, really good red & green salsas… good flavor and mild heat. Very good margarita!

One of the better spots around here.

Very friendly staff.

Got seating right away.

Parking was easy.

Quesadilla was enjoyable, nothing spectacular.

Rice was ok.

Beans were underwhelming.

Chimmichanga was pretty good.

Would return.

Margarita was just right.

I guess with the fact that you’re kind of in the middle of nowhere and in a tourist trap area for hikers it’s ok. The food isn’t anything I’d want to come back for, neither are the prices or service. How is guacamole $15???? It was good but it wasnt $15 worth type. And the Paella $40+ when it’s so wet and lacks any flavor? The seafood definitely came from frozen packets and were dumped in it. The seafood in it also tasted kind of old. The servers all in a hurry and refuse to look your way. All purposeful so they have a reason to ignore you. Overall disappointing. Their house made tortilla chips are good, so added a star for that to be honest.

A cozy Mexican restaurant with stunning views! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful—everything tasted homemade. Service was warm and quick. A perfect hidden gem in a small town. Highly recommend!
