Absolutely stellar service in great outdoor setting looking at red rocks!
Good choices of margaritas in particular as well as draft beers with a rotating local selection. Margaritas were made even better with a house made chipotle salt on the glass’s rims.

Good choice of appetizers as well as a decent vegetarian option (2 people in our party of 4 were vegetarian).

They were out of the scallop dish as well as the other seafood dish on the menu – as we had no intention of ordering seafood in the middle of the desert that was a non issue.

The steak dish at $ 60 had an excellent, exactly as desired rare, and good 8 oz steak, server on mashed potatoes. Only negative comment would be that there were exactly 2 measly little mushrooms pretending to be the accompanying vegetable – pretty shameful, but as always didn’t complain so as to not ruin an otherwise decent meal!

Will reconsider going next time due to the non existence of any reasonable vegetables with a $60 entree of otherwise well prepared protein.
Overall decent value and acceptable due to magnificent view from the outside seating.

We had a wonderful dinner at SaltRock Kitchen! Our waitress, Lauren, was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. We sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed an absolutely beautiful sunset view — it couldn’t have been more perfect. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the service matched the view. Highly recommend if you’re in Sedona!

Five of us had an excellent dinner at Saltrock Kitchen. Make sure you make reservations for Friday and Saturday nights as most of the Sedona restaurants fill up quick. Excellent service and food but the portions were not large. I had the scallops and Pork Belly which was excellent but it would be nice if it came with additional veggies or a larger side.

Dinner with a View at SaltRock Kitchen
We ordered three different tacos and shared them all—each one packed with flavor and a little Southwest flair. The real showstopper, though? That view. Unbeatable desert beauty paired with great company and delicious bites. SaltRock knows how to serve up a sunset!

If visiting Sedona for the first time, you must try dinner at SaltRock Kitchen at the Amara Resort. We visited during the summer of 2025 and were immediately captivated by the outdoor seating. A heater kept the temperatures comfortable, making it a perfect spot to enjoy the stunning views of Sedona’s red rocks.

The kitchen offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape while providing a relaxed and comfortable dining atmosphere. The friendly and attentive service made our meal truly enjoyable.

The food was delicious, with fresh salads that complemented the main courses. I had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Despite not having a reservation, we were pleasantly surprised to wait only about 10-15 minutes for our food. The anticipation was worth it, as each dish was a culinary delight.

However, it’s important to note that the restaurant can get busy, especially during peak season, and if you’re dining outdoors. Therefore, reservations are highly recommended, especially if you want to secure a table and avoid disappointment.

Overall, our experience at SaltRock Kitchen was fantastic. The beautiful views, delicious food, and attentive service made it a memorable dining experience. If you’re staying in the area or a guest at the Amara Resort, I highly recommend visiting SaltRock Kitchen for a truly unforgettable meal.

We visited this restaurant for lunch. We had 7 people and our waiter was Martin. He was extremely slow and messed up our order twice. He didn’t care much about service since 20% tips were included on party of 6. We have waited for about 20 minutes for drinks and order was still not taken by it. Wouldn’t recommend this place for lunch. Didn’t like the food much either

We had a nice dinner at SaltRock Kitchen at the Amara Resort on Monday night around 7:45 in March. The outdoor seating was a highlight with heater to keep temperatures from getting too cold. It was ~50 degrees and we were able to comfortably enjoy our experience with jackets on.

The restaurant offers great views of Sedona’s red rocks in a relaxed and comfortable setting. The atmosphere was enjoyable, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal.

The Grilled Caesar Salad (with Steak) was the standout dish—the charred romaine added a nice depth of flavor, and the steak was cooked well. The rest of the meal was good, though not particularly memorable.

Note that we had a reservation, but still waited about 10-15 minutes to be seated for our table. The restaurant can get busy, so reservations are recommended, especially during peak season and if you want to eat outside.

Overall, a good experience with great views —worth a visit if you’re staying in the area and definitely if you are staying at the Amara

This was a truly exquisite experience here at SaltRock for their Christmas Brunch. My mom and I really enjoyed the omelette bar, the carving station and the pastry table! Usually at most other restaurants we are treated as less than because my mom has a physical disability and is wheelchair bound I am so delighted to say that was not the case today. Everyone working went out of their way to accommodate us and even showed us a special way to enter via a wheelchair accessible ramp. Our server Daisy was super nice and constantly made sure we were well taken care of bringing us a plethora of refills as well as making pleasant conversation with us. The manager (I didn’t catch his name) was a real stand up guy and genuinely cared about us and our dining experience. Having driven all the way up from Prescott on a whim I can tell you with certainty this was the best Christmas meal we’ve ever had at a restaurant in our entire lives. Considering we made the reservation via OpenTable less than four hours prior I can tell you I am truly impressed and tickled pink that things actually worked out according to plan. If you’re looking for a place to eat with great ambiance, a beautiful view of the Sedona red rock and skyline than I would highly recommend it eating at this great establishment. Lastly but possibly the most important thing to note … the host (who’s name begins with a J I genuinely wish I could spell his full name correctly but I forgot) was an absolutely awesome person and he helped us navigate how to get to the restaurant via valet and didn’t give us a hard time about being slightly behind on our reservation time. All in all everything was excellent and I do believe that for the price you pay you get more than a good value. Thank You for making what’s usually a tough day for us magical. I wish my dad was still alive to eat with us here; I know he would have loved it too!
