I picked this place during an overnight stay because I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and saw there were some of my favorites that I have missed since moving to the South, including Italian Beef and Chicago style pizza. While the pizza and Italian beef did not live up their authentic Chicago counter parts, they were still excellent in their own right. The quality of the food was top notch. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would definitely recommend if you are in Hernando, but if you are from Chicago, don’t expect the flavors to transport you 550 miles north.

Service was great. The food was good. Cooks did a good job of putting it together. Drinks were cold. The place needs a good cleaning and refresh. Over all not a bad experience just not the place it once was.

I really enjoyed everything, freshly made hot food. Friendly service. There’s not a lot of parking but it works. Steady customers during lunch, not a wait unless you have a large group.

A relative told me about this place. They were for sure that I would like it and I did. Kudos to the cook. The fish was fried perfect and crisp! The prices are amazingly reasonable. I have to try the Salisbury chopped steak next time. I’ll be going back soon.

HERNANDO, MS not COMO.

Party of 3. Ordered Rueben w/grilled green beans and fried toasted ravioli as an app. Rueben was very good. No gristle in the corned beef and marble rye had a nice rye flavor. It was put together well nice a warm, cheese was melted and bread was not soggy from sauerkrau!

Green beans were to my liking which leans to the crunchy side. A nice alternative to a fried side.

Fried ravioli was ok. Marinara was better than most. I don’t order fried food on the reg. It was a split with someone. Wouldn’t order again as its just a frozen ravioli that they cook which is really all you can expect. It’s not like they are making fresh ravioli in the kitchen.

Last was the fish and chips. Looked like it was fried perfectly which is not a given! My friend said it tasted very good. Got the potato chips which were crispy, not burnt and were not overly salted. Blue cheese dressing he ordered as a condiment was awful as it was sweet. Tasted like made with coleslaw dressing or salad dressing. Friend said it did not use to be that way as they had ordered this item many times in the past. Regardless, it was sweet and that should not be a taste profile of blue cheese dressing. Seriously puzzling.

I had a jalapeno margarita which was exactly as I asked it to be made. Bartenders are not always that, nor experienced and definitely not mixologists. And sometimes may get defensive if told how your drink should be made. But, as I am willing to pay for what I want….but not for what I don’t want, I don’t leave it to chance. No sweet and sour for me, ever. Its awful and unnecessary. But everybody uses it. I want an original margarita. Tequila, Cointreau or Gran Marnier, Roses lime and fresh lime juice – shaken hard for a minute them poured over ice. I don’t want a glass full of sweet and sour and a shot of tequila in a 8oz glass full of ice. BAM! I got it. Oh yeah and the jalapeno was spicy. Def appreciated it!

The inside is all dark painted black. Its more of a bar atmosphere than restaurant. Friendly ! Just dark inside. The chicken parm pizza is excellent, just ask for extra alfredo sauce or a little on the side, could not taste it much. Extra sprinkles of shaker parm elevated it a bit more. I think the crust is house made, not on a pre-made crackery fake crust you find in a lot of bars. Real cheese! Bloody Mary was good too! Will go again for sure. Good stop!

I LOVE the fettuccine with chicken! So good!! It’s rich, creamy, a big serving. And EXACTLY what you need in your life! It’s so good! The lasagna is also delicious and the hamburgers are my husband’s favorite of anywhere! Thank you. It’s beautiful to be able to sit on the patio and enjoy the birds and people!
