Wanted some fish and chips and Clancys was the closest. Great service. Clam chowder was really good. 4 piece Halibut was big pieces not overly greasy and tasty. Tacos were overflowing with toppings. The burgers that passed by looked amazing. Would recommend

Service was good, super fast, the place is very nice and it has a good vibe, although it felt kind of empty for a Friday night. They have a big menu but at the time we went they didn’t have a lot available. The things we got were very good.

I enjoyed the fish and chips and cant go wrong with the clam chowda. My only issue was when I looked up i saw a couple holding a dog. The couple was sitting inside and the dog was not service dog. I am a dog lover and have 3 of my own. The dog should not have been inside the restaurant and them holding the dog at the table.

I will not be ordering takeout from them again. We got work lunch and for the prices these portions are ridiculous. The “bowls” of clam chowder were not much bigger than the portion of shrimp cocktail I dumped out of the to-go container. $16 for this plus another $.50 to go?! I get you’re a bar but come on.

I’m really disappointed… Clancy’s was my families go to for breakfast on the weekends. We decided to start cutting back.
My spouse & best friend decided to stop by Clancy’s yesterday for lunch and I had total sticker shock.
$3.50 for a coke, $4.00 for drip coffee and $15 for some Sysco onion rings?! That is highway robbery.
I was also confused because my spouse and I ordered a quinoa bowl & a steel head rice bowl. Which in my opinion, is fairly priced. However our waitress asked what sauce we’d like. We chose and they charged us more for it?!
I was honestly sticker shocked.

Great atmosphere, they accidentally took away our drinks when we stepped outside but other than that, no service complaints at all. Food was good and you get what you pay for. For three top, drink plus entree totaled about 130.. Food was good and severs attentive. They tout an Irish atmosphere but dont serve any staples you might want – scotch eggs, shepherds pie etc.

So we’ve been checking out the Happy Hour scene in and around Sherwood, this day it was Clancy’s. I’ve seen some poor reviews regarding service, but our server was really good – funny & friendly. The Happy Hour menu offers few choices – in our party, it was only the fish and chips – NW halibut & fries, that were ordered off the HH menu. It was a decent size serving and the fish tasted fresh and had that crunch I like. Otherwise, 2 patty melts and a cheeseburger were ordered. These come with chips – as in a small bag of Lay’s classic plain chips. You can get fries or tots for a $3 up-charge and rings for more. The melts were a single small patty-I would suggest adding another patty for $3 to make a decent burger. The cheeseburger was good, not anything special. Drinks were had, but not by me, so I can’t speak on that.
As the sun was setting, it was blindingly bright at the table in the back and no way to stop the sun. Our server kindly stood for a few minutes and blocked it for us! Also at the table in the back, the seat cushions sunk so low we practically had our chins at the table top.
Overall, the food was okay, service was great but we see no reason to return to Clancy’s.

This pub/restaurant is a neighborhood institution. It’s a sports bar with an Irish twist. The food here is varied, delicious and the servings are generous. The friendly and attentive staff make it a great place to visit.

We popped into Clancys on a Saturday afternoon, a few tables were seated and we were seated immediately, the menu is vast and I had a hard time choosing! I wasn’t lavished so I settled on a nice bowl of home made chilli with garlic bread. The flavor was great and I added cheese and onions, service is friendly and atmosphere cordial and relaxed. My Co Horts had the chicken fried steak platter and an old fashioned breakfast they enjoyed. Coffee was refilled and we were checked back with a perfect amount of times. Of note they have weekly specials and noticed a corned beef benediction on the board, may have to try that next time. Thanks Clancys for a great meal!

Best fish tacos I think I have ever had. Seriously. Get the cajun ones. Just enough spice. They are really hard to eat and messy but TOTALLY worth it. Hubby got the prime rib, which was great also. Never disappointed at this place. Great atmosphere, even when it is packed. Love this place.
