I was in town for work and this place was recommended by my hotel check in person. I was able to get a seat at the bar and was promptly greeted. Service was very friendly. I was able to get a beer and a pizza in short order. The pizza was absolutely amazing. You could tell it was made from scratch and when you walk in you can see the flames from the pizza oven. They have a good variety of beers on tap. Breckenridge brewery was my poison for the night. This place has a great atmosphere. I will definitely be back on my next trip!

My husband used to come here 20 years ago when it was more of a bar/club scene. The improvements are really nice. We got to meet Jason, my husband knows his father really well and so it was nice for him. The food was really good and overall it was a nice visit.

Food was good, had the porky peach pizza with gluten free crust. Our server wasn’t having the best night. She wasn’t friendly. Didn’t check on us. Kind of unresponsive when we asked for something. We got pizza here for dinner one night while visiting the great sand dunes national park. It’s very spacious and has indoor and outdoor seating. Our server was very friendly. We got an IPA and a half and half margarita and the hog 12 inch pizza. It was delicious. Would recommend stopping here while in the vicinity.

I visit the Purple Pig often and service is always great. Food is always great. Everything is always amazing. But, this is my 3rd time asking why I’m getting charged a surcharged on a DEBIT card. I understand surcharges are allowed and legal on CREDIT cards but they are illegal on debit cards. Debit cards are literally like cash but in a card. The receipt states “Credit Card 3% surcharge” not debit card. But yet, we always get charged that 3% charge even on debit card, even though I kindly explain and ask why. And even though it’s illegal in Colorado. For this reason, I wouldn’t be returning since I’ve asked kindly so much times and made it noted that those surcharges on a debit card are not allowed.

I heard about this place but had not been there. Stopped with a group, 15 total, and they took us in, waited a few minutes while they moved some tables together. The waitress got us seated, gave us menus and took our drink order right away, no delay, brought our drinks and took our food orders promptly, when she brought the drinks and later our food she didn’t get anything mixed up, she did an excellent job. When the food came, Oh My! go hungry because you get a lot of food, I had a burger big enough to feed 2 and the calzones are huge. The food tasted great, the place is really neat, it has that feel it has been there for a long time but is also up to date at the same time. The noise level was surprisingly low even with a number of people that were there, we could carry on a conversation very easy. Even with the great food and atmosphere the best part was the excellent service, she came by frequently to make sure we had a full glass and see if there was anything we needed. It was a great experience and I want to come back, just need a reason to go back to Alamosa. Thank you for doing it right!

My first time and I’m so impressed!! Everything was top notch. Quite possibly the best pizza crust I’ve ever enjoyed! What made my experience so memorable was by far the service, especially the bartender Nicole. She was so delightful! Kind, attentive, and just so nice! I can’t wait to come back and bring family/friends!! What a wonderful meal and experience!

Looked for a place to eat as we were passing through town. Felt adventurous and tried the Porky Peach pizza. It has pulled pork, peaches, BBQ sauce etc. Was really good but the BBQ sauce adds a little too much sweetness. Would order again but ask for half their normal BBQ sauce or maybe on the side. Also tried the pepperoni pizza and it was great and the safe choice. Had family with us that know their pizza and they were extremely happy with the pepperoni pizza. Service was great and with a smile. No complaints.
