Jimmy’s Diner is a solid spot. The space is roomy and comfortable, and the service was friendly.
I had the hash with eggs and it was really good. The hash comes with mushrooms, which was a little different for me, but it actually worked well and added good flavor.
Overall a great experience — easy place to enjoy a relaxed meal. I’ll definitely be back.

Visited yesterday with my husband, him for first time, second for me. We were looking for a nice old fashioned diner south of boston that time had stopped in the 80s. This place didn’t disappoint us with atmosphere! We felt comfortable right away.
We walk in and were given the menus with general direction of a table where we sat ourselves.
Food plenty, nice presentation and great taste.
Oh, and quite cheap with today’s standards!
Fast service, almost too fast. Unfortunately our elder waitress must have had a bad day. She just brought our food but didn’t even check on us or bothered to interact other than her minimal duties, which left us feeling “we didn’t worth her time”. Nevertheless we tipped over 15% (couldn’t bear to tip our customary 20%+).
We decided we will definitely return for the food and atmosphere. Not so much for service but is worth the sacrifice

A wonderful surprise at *Jimmy’s Broad Street Diner in Boston*! The place has an authentic, warm atmosphere — perfect for a relaxing moment. The food was tasty, generous, and served quickly, but what truly made the experience special was the *blonde waitress*: charming, friendly, and incredibly kind. Her genuine attention and positive energy added something emotional and memorable to my visit. A big thank you to her for making the moment so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The food is amazing here! Best hollandaise I‘ve ever had. The mimosas are spectacular. A true diner, with breakfast all day and fantastic coffee. I especially loved my waitress, Barb, whose attentiveness was only surpassed by her warm, welcoming and upbeat attitude. She makes this place my #1 choice because anyone can make good food. But superlative service is hard to find!

Surprisingly good food here. Big portions and great value for the money. I had the meatloaf and my friend had the liver and onions. Both meals were excellently plated and prepared. Well seasoned and good quality ingredients.
I definitely will be back!

I went there to have breakfast and lunch a few times and the taste of the food is incredible, the portions are amazing. Good service, fear price. It’s a great place to have a delicious meal with your family or even by yourself.

Lunch at the old spot, breakfast at the new—Jimmy’s Broad Street Diner never disappoints. I’ve been going to Jimmy’s for 30 years, and the original place on the Braintree/Quincy line was always something special. The new location keeps that same charm with even better food and plenty of delicious selections. Still one of my longtime favorites.
