So Disappointed. I love applebees but have not eaten there in forever since my husband ia not a fan. Today, however, was my birthday and I was excited to finally have it. Didn’t want to go out so I ordered delivery. It took 30 mins to get the order to go through because it kept giving me an error, telling me that the time it said it would be finished was too early and it would take longer to prepare the food. I tried multiple times because I didnt ask for a specific time, it was the website that was giving the info about when it would be done. After multiple attempts and ready to give up, I added a soecified time of 1 hour after placing the order and it worked. 40 mins later, was headed to us by way of door dash. The delivery instructions were VERY precise given in not 1 but 2 places for the driver to see, the pin on the map even moved to a more precise location with notes on exactly how to get there (not that it’s hard AT ALL). When it said driver was close, I sent my husband out back to catch them because the map showed them turning down the street at the back of my home instead of the front where the instructions ask them to go. The driver drove around the block and on his second trip looked at my husband and continued driving. 5 mins later I get a message asking to call my driver because they can’t find my home by the time I got through he said he was again out back and needed help with the gate. At that point my husband was out front looking for him and I redirected him to the back. Now, I understand that food by delivery is not going to be fresh because it has to get to you and steams in the packaging on the way… But my food was COLD. Ordered my usual, Chicken fajita roll-up with extra cheese ($2.69) no pico and on the side no mexi-ranch but instead, housemade ranch. It was cold, there was no extra cheese and the ranch I requested as substitute was instead mexi-ranch. My husband ordered Blackened Shrimp Alfredo, which he said would be great, if it had sauce. There was barel ebough sauce to slightly coat the noodles but leaving the veggies and chicken completely dry. Delivery was expensive, I dont recommend. 2 entrees, 1 dessert, no drinks. Subpar meal and service $80… Lesson learned – Priceless

I went on Saturday night and sat at the bar and ordered a margarita. I then noticed a speck of black in the drink, I took a close up picture and it was a bug. I brought it up to the bartender and she threw it out. I was really grossed out because my friend and I took a sip of the drink before I noticed the bug. That is the reason for my rating. Otherwise, the atmosphere and music was great.
Update: My friend and I went on Saturday night and tried out the food and drinks. We ordered the margarita, beer, pretzels and boneless wings. Everything was really good and the service was excellent. Once again, the atmosphere and music was great. I appreciate the owner reaching out about the last review.

I’ve never enjoyed a meal at this location, Until recently the waiter had just entered his work place and, zoomed over and took our drink order. Thank you for the delicious food. Atmosphere was pretty but it would be a lot better if all the Christmas lights worked. The place was jumping with happy hour drinkers and all I wanted was a chicken sandwich pickles were yummy and the French fries also hot thank you again ill be back.

The restaurant is always very comfortable on hot days. A/C is very refreshing. Comfortable seating, a large variety of foods and drinks to choose from and wonderful service from everyone, but my personal favorite is Julian. His personality, attention to detail, and quick service make him an asset to the establishment!

It’s standard for me and my husband to enjoy our meals at Applebees on the rare occasion that we eat at restaurants…but in this case, there was some glaring inconsistencies in our most recent visit
We were in Yuma for a short stay while my husband was preparing for surgery the next day and we treated ourselves to a meal at Applebees expecting the usual excellent food, drink and atmosphere. They got the atmosphere and the drink right on but fell flat on the food. I had ordered the soft pretzel with beer cheese dip and when it arrived, it was not even edible due to amount of salt on the pretzel. I scraped as much off as I could but it was still way too salted – like the pretzel had literally been rolled in course salt chunks. Once I had scraped off as much salt as I could to try eating some pretzel, there was close to three full tablespoons worth of salt on my plate. I understand pretzels are supposed to be a bit salty but this was way over the top. (There was four pretzel sticks on the plate and I could only manage to eat two and it was a challenge).
Also, there was a touchscreen at our table for extra orders and entertainment like game – and somehow I was charged for a game of trivia that we absolutely didn’t play. It was only $2 but not the point…we didn’t access games but it appeared on our credit card statement days later.
My husband’s riblet platter was excellent as usual and the drinks were nice and potent, but in the end I was disappointed with my order. If and when I make it back to Yuma AZ, I will probably give Applebees another shot because we’re usually happy with them, but I won’t be ordering the pretzel plate and I’ll look closer at the bill for inconsistencies like over-charges.

Absolutely love the 2 for $25 you get an appetizer and 2 entrees And really good selection of entrees to choose from!
We had the artichoke dip appetizer with chips My boyfriend got the chicken broccoli fettuccine Alfredo and I got the 6 oz sirloin steak , which was juicy and very tasty.
I was looking forward to the dessert…chocolate molten cake which was amazing. Highly recommended.
Friendly service and frequent attention from our server All around good experience.
