We enjoyed the entire experience and have talked to one another about coming here for a couple of years. The restaurant is nicely decorated and when we arrived there were plenty of seats. I ordered the sirloin, and my wife ordered salmon. We both had the carrots. I also had the fried potato, which was like hash browns, and she had the potato ball. Everything was enjoyable, although the potato ball wasn’t as delicious as we wanted, but it was still okay. The sirloin was delicious and made exactly as ordered. The salmon was also very delicious. Since the restaurant has been in business since the 1970s, we could understand the decor and woodwork. We loved it all. I’m sure we’ll come back sometime in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised at this restaurant. We went for Father’s Day buffet. Huge selection an each item was delicious. Our waitress was fantastic so pleasant. Everyone of the staff we came across smiled and said hello. Really nice place. Atmosphere is wonderful. It was a bit pricey but it was worth it.

Delicious German food. Schweinshaxe – Pork Knuckle reminded me of dining in Munich. Jaeger Meister BBQ Wings were tasty as was the seafood platter with the sea bass, salmon, sole, shrimp, and lobster. The mushroom ravioli was also very tasty. Was impressed with options including venison, rabbit, and wild boar. Professional service staff and live music made the experience complete.

Food was so medicore. I ordered the tasting menu and everything was cold and obnoxiously small. The bread was so stale I choked on it. I ordered a draft beer, said none of the beers on tap could be served. And then they served me an old rusty beer from the bottom of the cooler that literally had rust on the spout, they knowingly told me it was an old beer. I got the rice pudding for dessert and somehow the rice was crunchy and under cooked. Everything was so strange and weird at this restaurant, I honestly don’t understand the high reviews. I left this place hungry and still managed to spend a lot on the meal. And on top of it they don’t take any sort of gift cards or anything of that nature.

Waiting over 35 min to get a drink. Food is outrageously expensive for what it is.
Food showed up cold and congealed. We each took one bite and stopped eating after waiting over an hour for it to get to us.
Not to mention we were sat next to some sort of door that slammed so loudly every time someone exited we all jumped.
Nothing was comped.
Our server was polite and kind and clearly overworked.
Will definitely not be back. It was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.
And then behind us the “chef” is “baking” with no gloves on a dining table, placing opened butter on a dirty dish rag along with numerous other utensils she was using to cook.
This is a health code violation. We politely declined dessert to bring home after seeing that.
I truly am shocked. I couldn’t recommend less.

This is an amazing restaurant. The food is incredible and every person I’ve seen who works there is super kind and helpful. The food is very good and high quality. The atmosphere is wonderful too and can change depending on when you go. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants good food and enjoys German cuisine.
