I must add this tidbit, I was a walk in, no reservation, but solo so that was easy… if you are not ok with sitting at the bar on the weekends then don’t try to pop up without a reservation
Our server was so sweet, and the hostess graciously held our reservation for a few extra minutes, which I really appreciated.
I had the red velvet waffle and it was as good as it looks — rich but not too heavy, especially with the scoop of vanilla on top. Later I ordered the chicken Caesar sandwich for lunch and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We also split a half order of the tres leches pancake (highly recommend), added a side of bacon, and tried both the rose latte and a London Fog. The rose latte was light and floral without being overpowering, and the London Fog was cozy and smooth.
It’s one of those places that feels special but still relaxed. Definitely worth the visit — and absolutely snag a reservation if you can.
Her energy was incredible and genuinely welcoming. I came for brunch and was meeting several of the ladies at the table for the first time, and Abigail honestly helped make the experience what it was. She kept us laughing, made sure the drinks kept coming, and that everyone was taken care of. She KNOWS how to take care of a large group!
It ended up being such a fun and memorable brunch, and I truly believe her service played a big part in that. If you’re making reservations for a large group and would like next-level service, I HIGHLY recommend asking for Abigail.
Visited Bloom Lounge in Plano for brunch recently. The ambiance is stylish and upscale, making it a nice spot if you’re looking for a fancy dine-in experience. It was very busy over the weekend, so reservations are definitely recommended.
The place was quite noisy and crowded during our visit. The food was decent, and the staff member who assisted us was friendly and helpful. However, I felt the pricing was a bit high for the portion size and overall taste.
Overall, it’s a good place for the vibe and aesthetic, but the food and value could be better.
I found this brunch spot on TikTok and it looked like a whole vibe, so I had to try it. We enjoy exploring new restaurants and cuisines, and the French inspired concept had me excited.
We were seated promptly at our reservation time. However, the tables were extremely close together, making the space feel overcrowded and very loud. It felt more focused on maximizing seating than guest comfort.
Our server was attentive, which I appreciated. I ordered the chocolate covered strawberry latte and it was genuinely delicious. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the experience.
I ordered the Wagyu slider as an appetizer, and this is where things fell apart. The slider had no flavor at all. The cheese, aioli, and meat were bland. It tasted as though the meat went straight from the package to the grill with no seasoning or enhancement.
The manager, Charlie, approached our table while my entire family was visibly pushing the sliders away and asked what was wrong. When we explained that it lacked flavor, he responded in a condescending manner, implying that this was a specialty we would not understand. He explained that the meat is from Japan and is not meant to be seasoned, as if we were unfamiliar with what Wagyu is. The assumption was unnecessary and dismissive.
I also asked why the mango juice was unusually thick while the orange juice was not. Charlie stated that it would be difficult for him to explain the difference between nectar and juice, rather than simply clarifying that the mango option was nectar. If the menu had clearly stated that, we would not have ordered it, especially since it is listed under the juice section. He then dismissed the concern entirely.
It was disappointing behavior from a manager receiving customer feedback. Not every guest will enjoy every dish, but professionalism and openness are expected.
Overall, most of the food lacked seasoning. My main course, the waffles, was delicious. The restaurant itself is cute, but the food quality and the manager’s attitude left a lasting negative impression. I would not return.
Whatever cotton candy covered cake is bought for birthdays was super tasty too.
