Very amazing food. The staff was very nice, helpful, and welcoming. When we tried their steak it was very good and sweet. The Pajeon was very good with delicious octopus, everything was just amazing. Amazing atmosphere! I cannot wait to come back and witness this experience again, and one of my favorite Korean bbq places. Ten out of 10. Komasomeda Chung Ki Wa!

After dropping a couple of Korean guys here a few weeks ago, and hearing their effusive reviews of the place, I added it to my “must go” list. Now I’m here and glad for it.
The service was pleasant and professional but not available when I had a couple of questions. Google for the answers then. Took a bit before I was able to get my order placed. (Same absence when I was done. No bill dropped off so I just headed to the register.)
After letting my eyes wander around the menu, I chose the Kimchi Jjigae, a dish I’d had before. It was delicious but, as before, less spicy than I was looking for. Next time I’ll go for more caliente.
There was a table of Asian grandmother types nearby lingering over their meals. It seemed they were regulars and very happy.
I’m looking forward to returning to try several other items on offer. Maybe someday I’ll figure out the correct thing to do with all the little bowls of stuff that get brought ahead of the entree. They’re all tasty but I’m not sure there isn’t a greater purpose there.

Such an authentic Korean gem! Easily the best experience I’ve had in both taste and service. Every dish was incredible, but the squid rings were a personal favorite! Their side dishes were a treat too—especially the cucumber kimchi, which we couldn’t stop ordering. I’ve already been twice and can’t wait to take all my friends. A must-try spot!

The last time we were here has to be at least 2 years or so ago. I will admit that the food quality has definitely much better than before. The food was quite flavorful and the portion was also quite a lot too. We ordered a variety of food from mild to spicy entrées and all of them were delicious. They’re not cheap but they were worth it. We will be back and try something next time. Service can be a little better.

Amazing Korean place. You know it’s good when it’s filled with Korean people.
Quick overall. Food was amazing and service was quick. I love the fact that they cook for you. I know some people hate that.
One thing I noticed is the 개란찜 steamed eggs was so firm. A lot of places will cheap out and reduce the egg and substitute with water but this one was firm so you know.
Brisket was good. I like them plan personally but a lot of other people had the marinaded version which looked amazing.
Salted macaroon is my personal favorite few bones but not much. Much delicious though

If you are looking for some good authentic Korean food this is a place to be. I will be bad for sure.

My husband and I regularly come here from Detroit and the food is always so delicious! Our favorite is the jjampong and the naegmyeon combo with galbi. The staff here are attentive and quick to bring food, very impressive timing since usually they are always busy and not a lot of staff! We love it here, highly recommend for good Korean food in this area!

One of the best comfort food places in metro Detroit. CKW is our go to place for a cozy meal on a cold day. They treat us like family. For many years we ordered the same things every time. We just tried a new short rib dish and their wings. The wings were amazing. We are taking them in our lunch because they take longer to cook than the bbq. Get the egg soufflé, you can’t go wrong with any dish here. I love taking with the waitress who nearly always cooks our bbq. She is so kind. This place is a gem!
