We had not been here in 20 years and decided to check it out again. Food was excellent. Wife got Garlic delight over steamed noodles and the noodles were awesome. Dish was so yum!! I got the Black Pepper Chicken and it was peppery! Not what I expected but it was very much black pepper flavor. I liked it ok but wouldn’t get it again. We got the crab Rangoon and rice noodle salad and both were great! Daughter got the Mongolian chicken. Flavor was great! All in all the food was very good and the atmosphere was really cool. Older but very cool. The free ice cream cones was also a nice treat.

After your meal, you are invited to help yourself to complimentary ice cream at a self serve station. Yes! It was a great ending to a good meal. The entrees we chose all had some heat (Garlic Supreme, Mongolian beef and the pepper chicken). The ice cream was quite welcome after this spice. I normally love crab Rangoon but theirs was fully packed with cream cheese and crab. It was too thick for me. Otherwise, nice place. The noodles were amazing. Oh the sesame cucumber salad was excelllent!

Unfortunately 3/4 of our group disliked their meal to a point where we just couldn’t eat it. Photos of previous reviews were severely different. Our food was heavily vinegar-y. Unsure why anyone would want to eat here. The reviews are insanely off. We were the only people dining and the food was so bad we couldn’t eat it.. I know I’ve already stated that but yikes. Photos are what we left behind.

The prices are expensive for the quality of the food. They do not have combination meals like most Chinese Restaurants. They do have a family meal option but it only offers one selection per person with one fried shrimp and a fried egg roll. We ordered the Happy Family and another dish that was similar. The happy Family was average but the other dish was way too sweet.
The soup was average. The appetizers were not good. The fried shrimp came out brown but gooey and raw. The egg roll was overly brown but dry and cold inside.
For the prices (which are pretty expensive), you’d expect way better.

The restaurant appeared to be amazing online. My party arrived shortly after they opened and I was extremely disappointed. I was with a few guys that speak only Spanish and the language barrier between them and the waitress took a while for us to be able to order. When it comes to what each dish is there isn’t any specifications on what comes in the dish. I had no idea what was in my food. I tried it and the chicken tasted okay. The soup that came before was not good and the rice was very bland. The egg roll was not great either. I probably wont be going back. I do believe that you need to have more of a defined pallet that what I have to be able to enjoy this place. They also have a self serving soft serve machine. The ice cream was really good.

This use to be my favorite restaurant for 20 years. Even when we moved we visit Columbus once a year and ate there. The food is just okay now, the silverware looks like something you get from a garage sale, a butter knife to cut, Really? Sadly, the owner passed away a few years ago when Covid came out. The bathrooms need some serious updates as well. They haven’t changed. Very disappointing.

I love China Bell! The Wor Su Gai with the yellow gravy is delicious! The Hunan Triple Delight Amazing! Everything I’ve tried is excellent! Man Ling does a super job as well and the ice cream machine is a nice free extra bonus. Try the Egg Drop Soup!

It’s been 2 years since my last visit. Moved 2000 miles away. I absolutely love the hot and sour soup! Ordered the large bowl. It’s meant to share, but I was selfish and enjoyed it all by myself. For my entree, I chose the China Bell Beef Noodles. Delicious! How can ya go wrong with beef, mushrooms, noodles, all covered in gravy/sauce? Ya can’t! Really miss this place.

I had the sweet and sour shrimp, my husband had the lemon chicken.
Both were absolutely great. The egg roll that comes with is a really good size and tastes amazing. Probably one of the best I’ve ever had.
My shrimp were so good. The breading wasn’t too much, it didn’t get soggy, and the crunch was perfect.
My husband loved his lemon chicken as well. Both dishes were served with a generous amount of their respective sauces.
The lunch special prices make this an easily affordable place to visit as well. We’re definitely gonna be back to start working our way through the menu.

The food was amazing it tasted just exactly the way it should.
There was plenty of it.
The wait staff was there right away to help us with anything that we needed they wanted to make sure the water was always filled on our table and it was a great place to have dinner
