I love their home fried potatoes, coffee and boysenberry syrup.
The reason is because we could not use two coupons for different checks. We had our waitress separate our bill so we could use our 9$ off coupon (buy one entree, get $9 off the second entree.) We ordered 4 entrees. Our waitress Debby said there’s no way to use our second coupon on the 3rd entree because we are all on the same table and her manager will see. The reason why we came to this establishment is so we can enjoy good food, enjoy a good atmosphere , as well use 2 of our coupons. Unfortunately we only used 1 coupon.
5 star review back in 2023:
The sweet potato pancakes are so good, I highly recommend it!
Really good hash browns, bacon, and ham slices.. the sausages were kind of spicy and oily. The sunny side up eggs were also really runny.
The food served are healthy portions at great prices and there are so many options. Definitely try the sweet potato pancakes.
The restaurant is clean & bright. I haven’t seen that much seafoam green and mauve paired together since the 80s.
I’ll be back for all of it!
I come for the sweet potato pancakes with powered sugar (no syrup), country potatoes with (sautéed onions and peppers) and scrambled eggs, with a coffee (bring your own hazelnut creamer). This is what I order every single time
The food is fresh, served hot and my cup is never empty.
On Saturday mornings the parking lot is full, but I never have to wait for a spot.
Not too many restaurants like this are still around. Very clean, comfortable, good food, nothing fancy, bring the whole family and grandma too. Debbie was my server, sweet and delightful. There is plenty of free parking.
The location is one of those forgotten spits every one drives past and doesn’t even notice it.
Before Dennys and IHOP took over this is the style and actual place for a breakfast Diner.
The inside would be a great film location for a period piece. They even have some original dishware and appliances. The atmosphere is straight 50s maybe 60s amd original design. They do have a lot of pictures all over most of which does not contribute to the atmosphere and seems to jest be there.
The food,
the pancakes are typical but pretty good.
Philly cheesestake sandwich was surprisingly good.
Service is where thos place really shined. The sole waitress/hostess/busser, was way busy servicing everyone but still made everyone feel important.
I would say the downside is the menu is so massive it makes ordering hard.
If your looking for a classic look andbdont want to support the mass market dinner of IHOP or Dennys give this place a try.
