Bienvenue à La Cave à Champagne crée en 1993 par le chef Bernard Ocio. Notre restaurant familial est l’endroit idéal pour découvrir les saveurs de la région Champagne-Ardenne, dans un cadre convivial et chaleureux. Depuis plusieurs années, le chef cultive la passion de la cuisine de terroir, en utilisant des ingrédients locaux et frais pour créer des plats savoureux et authentiques. Nous croyons fermement que la nourriture doit être à la fois délicieuse, saine et gourmande et nous travaillons dur pour offrir une cuisine qui répond à ces critères. Oysters were delicious, fois gras was exceptional, and the escargot was not particularly impressive. The steak was good, the velouté was good, but the perche lacked freshness. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, but we were expecting better food overall considering the price.

We had a lovely experience with excellent food and cosy atmosphere. I really loved the garlic risotto with perch. And the amuse bouche was so good. I can full heartedly recommended. The service was also attentive and friendly.

We went for Sunday lunch. The set menu was superb. The white sausage tarlet starter was one of my favourite dishes on our trip to the Champagne region. The perch fillet was beautifully cooked. The service was excellent , they looked after us superbly. Will definitely go again when in Epernay. This is a gem of a place 3 minutes walk from Moet and Chandon.

My husband and I have been travelling through France for almost 3 weeks. Hands-down both of our favourite meals have been at La Cave a Champagne. I had the salmon and lentils with champagne sauce which was absolutely delicious. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten. My husband had the pork teriyaki which he loved. We only had 3 days in Epernay and would have returned to La Cave a Champagne each day, but it was closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Def check it out if you are in Epernay!

We had dinner here end of August 2024 and we were super happy about our choice. Traditional and delicious French food at a fair price. Champagne menu with a lot of nice surprises and at an affordable price. The place is authentic and the atmosphere is nice. Throughout the meal we were always taken care of and asked if we liked our champagne and our food. We felt at home at this place.

We booked for a Sunday evening and it was almost full shortly after our 7pm sitting which was a good sign. We both had the beef bourguignon which was perfectly cooked and shared the cheese plate. Really good. Shared a bottle of wine – very good selection available – and a couple of glasses of champagne. Nice atmosphere and steady pace of service. Reasonably priced also.

Friendly service, great ambiance, wife very much enjoyed her burrata salad and salmon. I could not fault the foie gras or sweet breads. Good wine by the glass. Our best meal in champagne the first two were not great. If one hesitation, no real gap between the courses. Would be happy to return again.
