Best ramen in DC. Best in the DMV. Quite possibly in the world. We have been enjoying the food at Sakuramen since they first opened and the quality has always been on point! The Chosun Ramen is absolutely amazing! The Bulgogi buns – fire! The staff couldn’t be friendlier and attentive. The flavors here are super delicious! The chefs and owners really created a wondeful experience.

Others have said it so I’ll double down: best ramen in DC. Ramen comes out quickly and in large portions. Recommend adding an egg to your tonkotsu. I’m always able to wrap mine up for the next day too. Would also recommend the pork bao as an appetizer.

The best meal I had while visiting in DC – it was really a great experience. The flavours in the “Shoki Bowl” I ordered was so great, I didn’t want to fill up on my food. The chef & owner came to greet and mention the menu items to our table – a great personal touch. I don’t eat ramen often, but I would go back to Sakuramen any day…

The chicken ramen was good. I think the service could be a bit better (people were walking up to the register to pay) since this was my first time here but otherwise, the food was good.

Warm, cozy restaurant, friendly and welcoming, offering delicious food! We loved the Shroom Buns, and their signature vegetarian Sakuramen. Great selection of green teas. Yum!

Delicious ramen, the pork was really good, wish the ribeye wasn’t minced. The buns were also yum and so was the mochi icecream, would recommend

I’m honestly pretty disappointed with this ramen spot. Based on the reviews, I was expecting top tier ramen and nothing less. My party ordered three different dishes and across the board they were bland and lacked spice and overall flavor.
The broth was the highlight of each dish but even that felt somewhat lackluster compared to other places I have tried. Don’t get me wrong, the food was not inedible and I would even say I enjoyed it to an extent. However, the general consensus from my party was that it was not great and nowhere near the best as many reviews suggest. My biggest issue with this place is the service. For how packed it gets and how much business they must be doing, it feels like there are only two people working at any given time. This leads to slow service even though the staff themselves were polite. All I will say is this. If you are planning to make the trip to Adams Morgan to try this ramen spot and there is a line or a long wait, which there often is, you are better off going somewhere else. I am not saying it is not worth a visit, but it is definitely not worth the hype.

Amazing! I’ve traveled a lot in my life, and this is easily one of the top 2-3 ramen restaurants I’ve tried anywhere in the world! I finished my plate in less than 5 min

Bruh, like… delish! I lived in Japan for a handful of years and I think this is the best ramen I have had in the states – I got the Tonkotsu Mild.
The broth was on point, extremely flavorful. Noodles had a fresh/home made texture to them and were slightly al dente . In a lot of Japanese ramen joints you can customize the noodle firmness and I would always get “firm”. The pork was a little fatty, but I didn’t even care because of the deep flavor and crazy tenderness.
If you could only eat here by joining their back alley fight club then I would have to throw down and get a couple black eyes. I’m only in town for a few days but I’m for sure going to try to make a detour to come back here.

Really great place to grab some very tasty Ramen (I cant speak to its authenticity but it was delicious)! Really appreciated that they had a great vegetarian option at the top of the menu! Also let us in a few minutes early to help get us out of the cold even though kitchen hadn’t opened. Serving sizes are generous!
