If you’re craving flavorful pan-Mexican cuisine in a lively setting, My Neighbor Felix delivers on both taste and experience. The space is vibrant and stylish — thoughtfully designed with bold accents, a dramatic bar, and an ambiance that’s energetic without feeling chaotic.

The menu celebrates the rich diversity of Mexico, with dishes drawn from all seven regions. Each plate feels well curated and carefully balanced: the short rib birria tacos, the hot iron-seared burrito, the seafood and grill options — everything tasted fresh, layered, and satisfying. The flavors are bold but not overwrought, leaning into authentic technique and smart sourcing.

Service is friendly and on point. The staff seemed genuinely invested in helping navigate the menu, offering suggestions, and making sure the flow of courses hit just right. The cocktails and margaritas deserve a moment on their own — inventive, well mixed, and a fun companion to dinner.

All in all, My Neighbor Felix gives you an elevated Mexican dining experience that doesn’t lose its approachability. It’s a spot I’d happily recommend for date nights, group dinners, or any time you want to enjoy bold, well-crafted food in an energetic environment.

7.2025 update- came by for brunch! great selection and new cocktails to try!

another great location! they get busy and parking can be tricky, so head out a tad early to find a spot. otherwise the food came out perfectly and they were on top of refilling chips for our guac, too. nice touch!

My friends and I came here to say our last goodbyes to some friends that are moving out of town. I was completely blown away by the service and by the beautiful story that the owner has. We had complementary soup from the kitchen that was amazing as well as a great conversation with the owner. I’m still trying to perfect the chicken recipe at home

My friends/ familia and I enjoyed our visit.
Treated like royalty. Thank you for making our special moment memorable. Chef and bartender were legendary. We got some treats to take home! I’m so excited and thankful. My tummy is full.

Congratulations to my girl, Emma Sojo on winning her Sparta Combat Fight this past weekend! Proud of you lady! Champ is in the building.

Nice interior and patio seating. Food was fine but not great. Prices are a bit high for value and taste. Tacos were a bit too greasy, but they do have a fun 2 taco + margarita deal for $15. Service was fine as well

Looks Better Than It Tastes
Went to this Mexican restaurant hoping for a solid meal, but it ended up being pretty average. The ceviche looked great and tasted decent, but the tacos were a disappointment—so oily that the grease was literally dripping, and they fell apart after just a couple of bites.

Service was another letdown. The staff was nice, but they were incredibly slow and inconsistent, which made the whole experience frustrating. The only real saving grace was the manager, Rachel—she was super nice and actually made an effort to improve the situation.

Overall, not the worst, but definitely not a place I’d rush back to.

I would highly recommend MNF Lohi. Our waitress Kris promptly greeted us and was proactive in asking about dietary restrictions if any. Service was great! Food tasted delicious! Chef Shay does an excellent job. Hibiscus margarita was so refreshing. I ordered carne asada fajitas and they were so yummy. My wife ordered the Goddess bowl and she loved it! The manager Tyler checked in on us to see if we needed anything; which I felt was phenomenal service. Kris checked back periodically to see if we needed anything and refreshed drinks often. The atmosphere mixed with extraordinary service has us wanting to come back to try other menu featured items. I saw a table next to us who ordered nachos and they were stacked so high. Definitely going to give those a try next time. There are not many places that are able to accommodate gluten free/ vegetarian. MNF has plenty of variety. I would highly recommend this place! Thank me later. ️

We stopped in for late (3pm) Sunday afternoon light fare. Sat on patio, and business was moderately light as far as customers.
Service: Slow, inattentive server and food. Server never checked back after bringing food; next time we saw her was when she brought check.
Food: the food was so unremarkable and disappointing that I don’t even remember the names—but I have posted pics. We do, however, recall that their amazingly expensive “signature” Bloody Mary’s, which are supposed to be loaded with fresh ingredients like olives, lettuce, bacon and other items) fell dreadfully short of most items; you can see in pics that one just came with a slice of bacon sticking up, and the other didn’t even have that. Though it doesn’t appear on their online menu and I failed to snap a photo of their “real” in-person menu that touts this drink, I believe they were around $12 each—for a glass of tomato juice, a shot of vodka (probably house vodka) and a slice of bacon (or not!)… ridiculous. Food also overpriced.
Parking: There was ample street parking when we were there.
Chances we will return again: zero
Chances we will recommend: zero
Value for price paid: For $60 plus tip??? Nah—- very poor value in terms of food, drinks, and overall bad experience.

A classy vibrant Mexican restaurant with upscale menu and cocktails. Margaritas are awesome. Delicious guacamole and chips. The Arabe tacos are one of my favorites. Parking is challenging but worth it.

We’ve been previously and left very happy. Last night was not the same. The patio isn’t suitable for seating in inclement weather as a portion of the roof is missing so despite all the IR heaters, it’s very cold. There are tables with integrated fire pits, none of which worked. We ordered the squash enchiladas which are usually fantastic, and they came out cold. They brought out a second one ten minutes later and it was barely any better. Our server Sophie saved the evening as she was very understanding and helpful. During the winter months I’d recommend finding a reservation with indoor seating.
