If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. I went through the drive thru and waited what seemed like an eternity. There were 3 cars ahead of me and I waited about 20 minutes. The 2 cars in front of me had just one or 2 items each, so the wait was kinda crazy. I got to the front, handed her my card and after she said “Oh by the way, the ice cream was a little soft so we had to put your dip cone in a cup”. I asked her if it was melted because it sat so long? She assured me no so I decided to let it go, Even though it should have been my choice whether or not I wanted to keep it and they didn’t give me the choice. Well, she handed it to me and I couldn’t take stock of it till I pulled over. THIS is what I got. The dip was so incredibly thick I couldn’t break it!!! Finally I broke it apart with my hands (extremely messy and sticky). Then the ice cream was so melted it was like soup, I couldn’t even eat half of it because it was underneath the hard part of the dip and I couldn’t get it out. Absolutely unacceptable that I paid nearly $5 for this…There was NO ice cream in the cone, either, Which tells me most likely the whole thing dropped and they fished out the ice cream and threw a new cone on top and handed it out the window…this should NEVER have been served and if I wasn’t disabled, I would’ve marched inside and had words with a manager. I did try calling and it just rang and rang. Never again will I go here. I’d rather spend more money and go to Culver’s or Tony’s and get something that’s actually made properly and not have to worry about the quality. I really ever treat myself, So this just left a really bad taste in my mouth… Literally and figuratively. My advice? Avoid this place at all costs. If they’re willing to serve something this subpar, I’d hate to see what might be in the food and what their cleaning standards look like

Just know this place doesn’t stay open until their posted hours. Their hours say they are open until 9:30. I drove across town with 5 kids and arrive at 9:05 and the drive through says they are closed and we can’t order. We went to Harris Teeter instead. If your hours say you’re open until 9:30 and you’re not you need to change them.

Dairy queen was a huge product of my childhood, i was excited to see one still in operation, and upon entering i seen that old fashioned burgers were no longer on the menu, but corporate set menu items. Just wanted an straightforward cheeseburger with ltm… but nonetheless i ordered the first item offered on the board. Food came fast as if it had been precooked and microwaved. Burger meat was probably the worst ive ever tasted, with a conglomerate of melted cheese and sauce pouring out the sides, messy was an understatement. Id compare the taste to a mid 80s frozen Salisbury streak tv dinner fresh out of the nuclear oven and dripping in its gelatinous onion gravy. Sadly it took two bites to decide this wasnt going into my stomach, as a gut turning feeling came from within as i took it down. Where was the excitement? The awesome childhood feeling of hitting the local DQ on sunday for a burger, fry and a blizzard? It was lost somewhere between greed and a bad idea. Frozen burger patties are definately not the way to go. Our restaurants have lessened themselves to lower value product at top tier cost to the customer. Fries were mediocre, not the same old fashioned thick fries, but a thin salty fry as if it was a budget mcdonalds option. So on to the milkshake. The best for last…. and it goes back to quality and quantity. Cheap creamed icecream with chunks of strawberries. Thought id order a medium shake to go with the fries like i remember back on those summer sunday afternoons, what i recieved was barely equatible to a wendys frosty, i had to slurp down the icecream to get rid of the disgusting aftertaste of the freakshow of a burger i received. Over all my meal was a little over 16 dollars and i feel as if i overpaid by 3x. If by some miraculous intervention DQ decides to back to its roots i may return, but until then my eyes will turn away as i pass that old sign that will now linger as a memory and an ill fated tragedy.

Been a long time since I’ve been in a Dairy Queen, it looks like fate brought us back together again in the form of a storm named Helene!!!They happened to be one of the very few stores that had electricity and we’re able to be open while everybody else we’re closed. They had a $7 deal which was a pretty good deal I thought it was really good burger fries drink and a sundae for $7. Anyhow it’s a little far away from my house but I’ll definitely check them back out I always like Dairy Queen’s food they just all been falling by the wayside(closing) , this particular DQ has been here for a long long time that’s got to say something positive for this store!!! keep it up DQ

Ordered food through drive-up window and when pulled up to window an employee was using profanity and complaining about customers smoking cigarettes at the window. The order was wrong. Employees need to learn to treat customers with respect. Management needs to teach employees customer service ethics. If they have such a problem with their job they need to work elsewhere

The service was quick. I got a dipped cone and also cheesebuger combo. Fries were a little chewy but hot. It was a little noisy, but to be expected with kids there. Family friendly. Staff friendly. Overall good spot, and one of few places that serves dipped cones.
