Fish smelled beyond fishy like it wasn’t soaked whatsoever but all other foods including Cole slaw was delicious. I blessed others with my doggy bag of leftovers and they ate it .

So usually this is our favorite place to eat, but recently lynchburg has gone downhill, so first off the hostess was polite and nice, the issue we had was the waitress we got she was not friendly at all, as soon as she got our drink order didn’t introduce herself at all, shee rushed our food order we hadnt even looked at our menu yet, she didnt check on us but 1 time the whole time we were there, she also didnt bring me the cracker for my crab legs I had to stop her and ask for them she acted like that was a problem, I didnt get my corn that I ordered with my meal, also she brought our food out along with carry out boxes and basically tying to say hurry up, she conversated with the folks behind us and around us but acted like we were an issue to be seated in her area, my husband didnt get to finish his pitcher of beer he bought that was $15, this was the worst experience ever and we definitely will not be back ever!!! If you spend a high amount of money you shouldn’t be treated like crap from the beginning, all she was worried about was tips when I was going to the bathroom and my husband was paying!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! We dont know her name due to her not introducing herself but it was Table 19 and she was older with her hair in a ponytail with her hair going down her back!!! Do better this used to be my favorite restaurant but not anymore!!!! Also was there about 8pm on Valentines day

Awesome food. My wife had the honey glazed salmon and I had the stuffed flounder. Both were absolutely delicious. The clam chowder was great on a cold evening too. I highly recommend you order online or call ahead as they are popular.

Had wonderfully attentive server. She made sure all was to our liking and even added cocktail sauce and tartar sauce to our to-go boxes when we couldn’t finish. We got the platter for two, and we love seafood, but the portions are VERY generous! So, we really got two lunches for the price of one. Their fried clams are always perfectly cooked! Fried fish was flaky and moist.
Though the building is dated, it’s clean. Kudos for serving salads on cold plates. Lots of more expensive restaurants fail on that point!

Nice place to eat, reasonably priced. The fried clams were very good and anyone who’s been there knows you’ll be taking some home. They mound the plate to beyond it’s limit. We went for our anniversary and enjoyed the food. My husband had the steak. He said very good, tender, cooked to right doneness.

What saved this review from being a complete one star was our waiter. He was up beat, informative, and checked on us very frequently. The food was not good at all. I got the seafood platter and my fish was so over cooked, the clams were rubbery, as well as the shrimp. Although I tried to douse the fish in sauce there was no helping it. It truly seemed lime my food had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Definitely was not worth the $23.99. Huge shoutout to our waiter, though. He was the real MVP there.

The atmosphere is nice. I like the sea decor and the lighting is nice for dining. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. Menu choices are good and varied. And you get a good amount of food for the price.

TL:DR – If you want to try THE seafood restaurant in Lynchburg, this place might be it. Service is superb. I enjoyed the food and the service here both times I went.
The food, theme and the service were all superb. Considering we are in the heart of Lynchburg, this place won’t let you down in filling you up with good food. The taste of the food was more than what I expected considering we are in the heart Lynchburg. This is not the Pacific or anything. I expected the food to be slightly on the salty side since it’s seafood. The large portion size not only filled me up during the visit but also to take some back home. They do not have lemon wedge, which was a bit odd for me since I am so used to eating seafood with lemon. For service, I will rate at highest mark. The waiters are continually checking up on you and make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. I also personally found their props and decor to be enjoyable. I did wish the whole area was brighter though.

Everything was good yes, only complaint is the baked potato was extremely dry, 4 packs of sourcream & butter, it was weird!!! Me & family enjoyed it. Nice place to eat & not extremely expensive
