I was so excited when I seen Western sizzler I haven’t been to one in years. And then everything is a la carte now. I had to pay for my dessert separate I thought that was included and then salad bar is separate and then if you want soup the soup is separate I don’t know it’s crazy. I ordered the steak tips and the first bite of steak there was a bone in it. And I still have a piece of grizzle stuck in my tooth from the other piece I tried, I gave up and no.

Western Sizzlin’ has reasonable prices for a very delicious steak and the sides are also delicious- including the baked beans.
Another thing that sets this location apart is the outstanding and friendly service. Although it is busy, waitress Kelli seems to handle about 50 tables, busing , cleaning, delivering food and drinks and always with a smile. She also checks on the patrons regularly. It is very impressive.

We passed late afternoon on a Sunday and went in to try Western Sizzlin out, not realizing that they closed at 3pm a few minutes before we walked in. Every last person was kind and helpful even though we were keeping them late. My steak was seasoned well, cooked medium as asked and the salad bar was still completely full at closing. They didn’t start tearing it down until they were assured we were done. I will for sure come back but I’ll make sure it’s well before closing next time.

Awesome old fashioned lunch spot!! Has lots of good food options with decent prices and not to mention the FREE ice cream option for every meal! The cashiers, servers, and staff are SUPER friendly and welcoming! The rolls are top notch and I got the Philly steak which was very good too! Enjoy this place though a little outdated, fun place to eat!

I’ve been to Lima countless times, and have passed by this place every time without a second thought. I was definitely mistaken. This ended up being a hidden gym when I was in search of a different lunch place. The headline is you can get a 4oz filet mignon with a side, super buttery bread, and soft serve ice cream for 14.99. FOURTEEN NINETY-NINE. I’ve had Taco Bell orders rack up more than that. And what’s more, that was a good-ass steak! Countless other menu options but that was a clear highlight. Food was solid (with the small exception of the stuffing side I chose), came out promptly, and service was out of this world. Friendly staff (big shout out to Lex!) who were attentive throughout.

We had lunch, my partner had chopped steak well done and it came to table cold and mushy. Waitress took it back to kitchen, came back still mushy. Didn’t eat. Asked if we wanted ice cream. We did, was softer than normal. Used restroom and it had a foul

Our visit was a pleasant experience. The food was brought out quickly and was done to perfection. Everything was good quality. Our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 would recommend, would go again.
