We went here with some extended family for a lunch together. Everything was great, and the star of the show was our server!

We had a party of 8 and our server, Dylan, was absolutely fantastic. Super prompt, kind and helpful, and handled all of our orders with flying colours. It was on the day of the Super Bowl as well, among several other parties, and he attended to our every need. Shoutout to Dylan!

I got a cup of the Potato Bacon Soup for my appetizer and the Chicken Tenders for my main. Everything was very delicious and fresh! The soup in particular was hearty, flavourful and hit different on a cold February day.

This Logan’s Roadhouse is a great location to gather and spend time with family, and the service is impeccable. I definitely recommend it!

Our bartender/ server was great, the food not so much. The place was pretty empty for a Sunday evening. The porterhouse filet side was the smallest I’d ever seen. The manager did come by, he said they come pre packaged and that’s just how it is. He did provide a discount, which I told him was not necessary, I just would have liked a larger portion. Just not what I expected, probably would not eat here again. See picture for filet side!

If I could give a 0 I would. This was the WORST meal ever. Richard ordered a New York Strip, medium well n I got half a rack of ribs. Richard’s steak was terrible and gray…he sent it back. (I should have taken a picture of it). My ribs were not much better. They were supposed to be fall off the bone…it was just bone…no meat! We have “eaten” our last meal at Logan’s.

My server was on point, made sure my steak was cooked to how I like before she walked away. The food was really good, overall it was a 5 star visit! Definitely recommend especially if it’s later in the night and everywhere else is packed, we got in and got sat immediately!

I have never in my life ordered a steak that came out this grey and pale. This is considered a “medium” cooked ribeye. There’s ZERO pink and the meat is so pale I thought it was pork. When we asked our server about the color we were told this was a normal color for under cooked meat and I could tell she’s had to say that a lot by the look on her face. As you can see by the pictures the steak was unappealing to look at, was cut very thin, and tasted spongy and flavorless. I didn’t get a picture of the beer battered fish that we ordered. It came out hot and cooked well, but was lacking in seasoning. The meal was just an all around disappointment.

My family and I went here a couple of nights ago and let me tell you one of the best places I’ve had in a long time. The food was outstanding (I highly recommend the Cajun chicken sausage pasta) my wife got a steak that was phenomenal. The waitress was very attentive and prompt And she even did her best to entertain my children. Whenever we’re in Lexington, we will definitely be stopping by again.

Update 7.28.2025: It had been a while so I decided to give them another try. I had another bad experience on 7.20.2025. We made an online order for three people for pickup. My husband made the pickup and got home and started unbagging the meals. We were missing my meal (Cajun Chicken & Sausage Alfredo). I checked the receipt and it looks like they had highlighted all items on the receipt except for that meal. They did this to check for accuracy. This only works if they don’t send out the meal without everything highlighted. I called them and I talked to a manager. She said the meal had not been bagged as it had been left on the counter. She said that I could get a refund, gift card, or come back and get it. I had noticed they had a “delivery” option online and asked if it could be delivered. At first, the manager said no because it is through a third party. We began talking but she stopped and said ‘Actually, if you order the meal online for delivery we could give you a refund after’. (paraphrasing-but pretty close) I asked if they would remake it fresh and she verified. She took my information to process the refund and I received the order in an acceptable amount of time and it was delicious. Honestly, I was hoping for some type of coupon or free dessert because I essentially had to eat alone, (everyone else already ate their meals) and was inconvenienced but nothing extra was offered. Well, it is 8 days later and I still don’t have a refund for the meal so I have paid for the same meal 2x. Luckily, when I had originally called I had asked the manager her name so I did call Logan’s today and asked for her specifically. She did remember and took my information down again so the refund could be requested. She said she will make sure it is processed. (The refund did hit my card three days later)

Previous Post 10.28.2024:
Server arrived 12 minutes after we were seated. Ordered at that time and drinks were not brought out for another five minutes. We requested straws and she disappeared for about 20 minutes. Drinks were empty. Asked for straws again. She smelled like cigarette smoke. My husband still didn’t have his side salad and I didn’t have the bar drink yet. The food was brought our table by another waitress and asked that the salad be removed from the bill.

Our waitress said she was sorry and said (paraphrasing) That she was making the salad and they shouldn’t have brought out the food until she brought out the salad. She only had two tables. We were never offered a second basket of bread. A table sat dirty during our entire visit.

My husband’s medium steak came out well done. I ordered the Teriyaki-Glazed Chicken. The picture provided by the restaurant had an entire pineapple slice on top. I got three tiny little bits. (see picture)

Check received and they took off $1.49 for his salad which was actually the upgrade charge of his baked potato. We asked for the manager but the waitress tried to avoid it. She left for about 3 minutes and came back and said she was still “looking” for the manager and asked what was wrong. We asked for the manager again. She was trying to avoid us having a conversation with the manager.

First, when we requested the refund for the salad the manager should have checked on us. The manager did come and talked to us about the experience. Ultimately, we appreciate the manager being receptive and ended up receiving $10 off our meals. I don’t believe this was the appropriate compensation for such a 100% terrible experience.

Tried again with another group; My Kickin’ Chickin’ Salad arrived after some of the group had already finished eating and came out with tomatoes, which I had requested not be added.

Previous Post” 11.27.2023: Group of 6; missing 2 entrees; the other person got a refund while I did not even though my SALAD was the last to arrive. Out of clean spoons, so received plastic utensils.

Had the Prime Rib, it was a dried out, precooked, piece of red leather. It was not fit to be called prime rib. The manager said they sometimes keep them in a warmer. The baked potato was old, luke warm, as in baked for lunch and held over to serve in the evening. I can’t express how unhappy I was. The salad and dinner rolls were very good. Service was also good. I eat at the Logan’s where we are from and have always been very happy with their food.

This was literally the best service that my family and I have ever had!!! Elle was the best waitress so sweet, honest and welcoming she knew the menu in and out! Our food came out in perfect timing everything correct and all of her recommendations were on point lol we ate more than we ever had at a restaurant because it was all sooo good!!! Thank you from the bottom of our heart you made our visit to Kentucky with my daughter and my sisters birthday so special. We will definitely be back again when we come to Kentucky have a beautiful day and keep shining bright your kindness and smile made our night! Love the Frech’s

The Pros!!! Fast service, we went on a Friday night around 7 Pm.. seated quickly!!! The waiter was very pleasant and the staff were friendly. Food was cooked to order!!
Cons: I had the Logan Sirloin steak, it had absolutely zero flavor!!! The salad was ok, (old bread as croutons) around 110 .00 with Tip!!! for 2 adults and 1 child
