WATR Rooftop at the 1 Hotel delivers an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was attentive and polished without feeling intrusive, which really elevated the day. The cocktails are definitely on the pricey side, but they are truly masterfully crafted. The Casa del Dragón cocktail stood out as one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had, perfectly balanced, bold, and memorable.
The vibes are absolutely on point. Between the stylish crowd, relaxed energy, and stunning views overlooking South Beach, it’s hard to find a better rooftop setting in the area. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger and soak it all in.
We also tried the tuna tartare. While it wasn’t the best tuna tartare I’ve ever had, it was fresh, well-prepared, and hit the spot nicely.
Overall, WATR Rooftop is a must-visit when you’re in South Beach, ideal for great cocktails, beautiful views, and a top-tier rooftop atmosphere.

If you’re looking for the ultimate Japanese lunch spot in Miami, Watr at the 1 Hotel South Beach is a 10/10 experience. The ambiance is unmatched, ocean views that make the perfect backdrop for photos. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to snag a lunch reservation. The staff was incredibly sweet and made the whole meal feel special. Every dish was delicious and presentation was 10/10, but the crispy rice and those truffle fries are non-negotiable! Whether you’re on a date or a girls’ trip, this rooftop is a must-visit.
What we ordered: (shared between 2)
-crispy rice tuna with caviar: 10/10, very crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle, addition of the caviar made it even better
-ora king salmon truffle roll: 9/10, at first was a bit curious with truffle and fish but the combination is the best ever! MUST TRY.
-maine lobster roll: 9/10, my favorite type of bun is brioche it is just always 10/10, the lobster was flavored with miso butter, yuzu tobiko and yuzu aioli which is the ultimate trio combination
-tamarind miso black cod: 10/10, the koji-tamarind glaze with cod, broccolini and honshimeji mushrooms all paired together with a flavor bomb in every bite
truffle fries: 10/10, obviously if it’s on the menu will be ordering every time. these fries are just always the best. the fries itself came out hot and crunchy
-hugo spritz: 10/10, in the hot miami heat a hugo is the way to go for a refreshing spritz
-margarita: 7/10, the presentation was eh
-island time cocktail: 7/10, very very sweet after a first round but definitely worth a try on a sunny day. contains: grey goose vodka, coconut water, passion fruit, pineapple, serrano & lime

I recently visited Watr Rooftop at the beautiful 1 Hotel South Beach, and everything was absolutely perfect, the ambiance is stunning, the rooftop views create such a relaxing yet vibrant atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a special night out or even just drinks at sunset, the food was incredible, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish exceeded expectations, theservice was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of the entire time.
Overall, it was a flawless experience. I can’t wait to come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Miami Beach!!!

Eva welcomed us vibrantly as we were taken to our table, and our server was fantastic with the crowd that he was attending to. The truffle fries and spicy edamame are worth ordering again while the sushi roll was great for the one time. The space was clean and well kept for the groups of guests, though the view is pretty bleak compared to the expectations on the location and word of mouth.

We came by to grab a quick bite for dinner, was able to get a table without reservations. The place was beautiful and romantic with outdoor rooftop lush green and string lights everywhere. The food is unfortunately not up to far where the sides are much better than the entrees. We got the aburi scallop role which good but easily outshined by the ginger and garlic steamed rice and grilled veggies side. We also tried the special noodle which was their new item on the menu and it needs a bit more work but our server resolve this very quickly and professionally.

Celebrated our Anniversary here on Saturday and we absolutely loved it! The vibe was upbeat as the DJ was hand crafting beats to everyone’s pleasure. The server Luis was masterfully anticipating our every want and delivered excellence on the service front. The presentation of the tantalizing dishes was a masterpiece and our palate was in perfect alignment with our eyes with every satiable bite. watr delivered on every level including the top level of the property with continuous views of eclectic decor of people, the south beach coastline and the Miami skyline. A five star experience that earned a definitive revisit with our next visit to Miami!
