The farm market hash and cinnamon toast cereal milk was the best coffee I’ve had in a while.
The staff was very nice and friendly, which I appreciated.
That said, the overall experience was disappointing.
The waiting area is very small for how busy this location gets, so it felt crowded and uncomfortable while waiting.
Cleanliness was the biggest issue. Our table was dirty with obvious milk spills on it, and under the table the floor was dirty with debris and with silverware on the ground. The highchair also had obvious butter on it. I actually saw someone “clean” the table while we waited, so this did not seem like an accidental miss. It looked like poor cleaning standards. The light fixture above the table was also filthy, with what looks like months of dust building up hanging from it. The bathrooms were unkempt as well.
There were also several problems with the food/service execution. Two sides were missing when our order arrived, and part of one entrée was missing too. On top of that, there was a very large onion skin in the omelet.
Finally, the waitress was very polite, but she never proactively offered a refill on a $4 (12 oz) soft drink that was obviously empty.
Again, the staff here seemed like nice folks, but this visit had too many issues with cleanliness and order accuracy to ignore. It was the sort of dining experience where you’re looking forward to leaving by the time the food arrives.
