We’ve visited a couple of times now, and this place never misses! We stopped for lunch here after staying in Central City, and it was the perfect choice. If you are sitting in the Subway parking lot down the street, do yourself a favor and go here instead—it was so good!!
On our most recent visit, we tried the Big Texan and the Red Chili. The chili was hearty and hit the spot! We’ve also shared the Big Cubano, along with the Tomato Artichoke (the dill was a great touch!) and Split Pea soups. Everything was delicious, really filling, and they were yummy soups!
The staff was super friendly and the vibe was unique, making it a fun space. They also have ♿ handicap accessible seating, plenty of ️ parking, and restrooms. It was a great spot for comfort food!

Awesome! We stopped on the drive home just looking for something quick and easy and better than fast food. I was pleasantly surprised that it was so great! I got the Texan sandwich and it was awesome, very fresh and the quality was great, very obvious the cooks here care about what they are making. I definitely would eat here again.

This place has a really cool idea and super yummy soups! We got the soup flight which was 6 different soups in like 4 Oz ramekins and two regular grilled cheeses to share between two people. It was amazing. I took one star away though because they don’t have a big variety of cheeses. Like all the kinds of sandwiches you can get sound good, but they are full of toppings and mets and sauces. I would like to see more emphasis on a variety of cheeses and different kinds of plain grilled cheese sandwiches you can make. I thought the sandwiches with toppings were too flavorful on their own to accompany a soup with a lot of flavors. But I would love to see like a melted brie sandwich or gouda cheese or something! It looked like all they had was American and mozzarella?

Took a trip to Colorado earlier this year and in October and on the second day me and my friends family stopped here to eat. Shocked and impressed by the design on the outside and inside, I was very excited to try the food. I got the ‘The Cheesus’ and was greatly surprised by how flavorful and delicious it was! Only problem I had with the restaurant was how crowded it was inside and not much seating, but it’s not too spacious inside which is perfectly fine! Next time I head back to Colorado, im definitely coming back here.

Food flavor was amazing! I was impressed with the taste. Paper plates are a bit small, as are the tables & dining area, but manageable. Staff was friendly and helpful. They serve beer, but currently liquor license limits consuming it indoors. I would definitely return and try something else on the menu. Give this place a try.

I can’t think of a better post(or pre-)-mountain-activity fuel-up
Takes a little bit of time to prep the sandos bc they’re all made to order, but said sandos are sooooo worth the wait!!
We stopped in on Sunday on our way to a local ATV tour, and it was so good we planned Monday’s activities (coming from Denver vacation homebase) in order to be able to dip in for even more cheesuses (cheesi??)
My absolute fave thing of our visits was the Cubano , but I’m also now obsessed with their Doritos ranch, especially when the Bavarian pretzel sticks are dipped in that Doritos ranch
Don’t sleep on the Goo Balls. Either the Capn Crunch or the Fruity Pebs will do ya up right for dessert

Not a single wiped off Table in this place. Trash cans are full. The door is propped open so a lot of flies are bothering table guests. The radio is blasting music from the kitchen so loud we couldn’t talk at our table that we cleaned ourselves. They really shouldn’t be asking for a tip when you pay. I want my tip money back if I’m going to have to clean up my own tables. The food was very good but the service and atmosphere is what is holding this place back from having more customers. If the owner sees this review check your cameras and deal with the employees working on 10/11/2025 at 3pm to 3:45 pm.

My husband and I have been coming here for about a year and it’s always been a AMAZING experience. Food is incredible, and they added in soup flights which is exciting. They also are now serving beer and added a bar! The Cheesus is unmatched . The owner is such a cool guy and always makes it a point to come talk to customers. We will always come back!

I can’t believe the number of times I’ve made the extra drive to come here that I forgot to leave it a review. This restaurant is amazing. Great vibes from the ownership to the music to the food itself. My husband and I make a trip here at least once a year and it’s definitely a must if you’re in the area. The red onion ranch is a delightful dipping sauce for my favorite the Big Southwest!
