Reviews
We would not order either dish again but would do the Somosa for sure and like it enough to go back and try additional dishes.
We also had chai with the samosa and it had a great flavor but was not sweet, which we enjoyed.
If you are looking for an Indian restaurant in area I think it’s worth trying.
I ordered takeout, so my review is solely based on the flavors.
Malai Kofta – Hands down, the best Malai Kofta I’ve had in the U.S.! Packed with flavor and paired beautifully with garlic naan. Every bite was delightful and my mouth waters thinking about it again!
Vegetable Saag – The OG saag made with mustard leaves—rich, hearty, and cooked to perfection. Truly soul-satisfying!
Garlic Naan – Not your typical naan! It’s thicker, packed with flavor, and cooked just right. You can even choose between crispy or soft. Crispy one won my vote.
To my surprise, they threw in extra naan with my order, bless them!
This place is pocket-friendly and hits all the right spots for Indian food cravings.
A must-try if you’re in town!
P.S. Excuse my pics. Looks like taken in the middle of a camping trip!
Update- Aug 31. – Another great meal. We shared palak paneer, daal, and vegetable curry with rice and naan. Everything was delicious. Large portions also mean plenty to take home.
We will be back!
SPICE/HEAT: All restaurants that use a star system still have their own sense of levels. I love hot/spicy foods and usually order 3 stars at Indian and Thai places (I’m not crazy and never order over 3). This place leans heavily toward being hot. The 3 stars here was over my comfort level. Next time I’ll ask for only 2 stars. Be warned!
The naan was great, as was the chicken curry. Many others have commented so believe them.
When we questioned it, the staff’s response was shocking — “I didn’t ask you to come here, go find another restaurant.” At that hour, in the middle of nowhere, we had no other choice. To make matters worse, we were made to wait 40 minutes for our takeout order, and in the end, we had to sit in our car and eat dinner like that after driving all the way there.
The treatment was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. If a restaurant says it’s open until 10 PM, it should honor that for dine-in customers, or at the very least be honest and respectful. Instead, our night was ruined.
