Friends Market & Bistro in Brickell is my favorite corner in the area! They have a fantastic menu variety, and I absolutely loved their cub sandwich. Their wine selection is impressive too, not to mention the market vibe is charming. The staff is super friendly, making every visit a pleasure.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the same French rosé here that I’ve enjoyed in other Miami spots. I was thrilled because I know it’s top-notch, and it’s amazing to see a coffee shop setting the bar high for quality wines. Whether you’re there for a meal or a great glass of wine, they’ve got you covered!

Recommend from a coworker. Tried the Best Friends Cachapa.

The steak was a cheap cut, quite tough. Cooked medium rare and seasoned nicely. The egg was cooked in the same location so it had a lot of grill residue on the bottom. The cachapa itself was very flavorful and the cheese was melted through. Not impressed, but I did enjoy the dish and the flavor combinations.

Bartender was a nice young lady and did check up on me. Never asked if I wanted a refill or anything else.

The store itself has a lot of alcohol and some simple staples.

I’d return again, but not overly impressed.

We enjoyed this place for dinner one evening that we decided to try the breakfast the next morning. The dinner service was friendly and great but the breakfast service took a half hour supposedly because of a new cook. We enjoyed sitting outdoors because of the weather but it’s noisy with all of the traffic. Overall, this is a great place to enjoy a bite.

I had a great experience at Friends. Very good location, right in front of the metromover. Has market inside to buy groceries or produce. Had dinner, good food. Ordered an açaí, pepperoni pizza and tequeños. All were really good, especially the tequeños ( melted stringy good cheese ). Waitresses were very nice and attentive. Atmosphere was quiet and had good music in the background as well as screens with sports games and broadcasting. Really recommend!

Ask waitress for reg coffee ☕️ w/ milk. Brought me a Cappuccino.. Asked her for a Refill. She said No refills but I asked for Reg Coffee w/ milk on the side. You decided to bring me a Cappuccino. She said ok but never brought me the Refill of Regular Coffee. The difference was $.70 … WOW Definitely would of Paid it.

Did not acknowledge me after that. Sure No TIP (.01) either. Just a regular waitress who took it upon herself to do her bidding. So Much for 1st Impressions.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Friend’s Market & Bistro! From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff set the tone for an unforgettable meal. The menu is diverse and delicious — from fresh arepas and flavorful burgers to perfectly made salads and Latin-inspired dishes — everything I tried was top-notch and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and the food was clearly made with high-quality ingredients. I especially loved the vibrant vibe of the bistro, which made it a great spot for brunch with friends or a relaxed dinner. The service was attentive and warm, making every visit feel special. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, this place is a must-try in Miami!

Friends Market & Bistro is a great neighborhood spot with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a very versatile menu. It’s the kind of place you can go for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a relaxed brunch with friends.

The menu offers a wide variety of options, blending American, Italian, and Venezuelan flavors. Everything is well prepared, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The quality of the food is consistently good, and you can tell care goes into each dish.

The service is friendly and attentive, which really elevates the overall experience. Whether you’re dining in, sitting outside, or grabbing something to go, the staff makes you feel welcome.

Overall, Friends Market & Bistro is a reliable and enjoyable spot with great food, good vibes, and reasonable prices. Definitely a place I’d recommend and continue coming back to.

I stopped by Friends and ordered two staples of Venezuelan comfort food: the tequeños and the sirloin cachapa. Here’s how it went:

Tequeños:
Crispy, golden, and fried just right. The cheese inside had that perfect salty melt, and they came with a creamy green dipping sauce (likely an avocado or cilantro aioli). The contrast between the crunch and the warm interior was spot-on. Solid appetizer — satisfying and nostalgic.

Sirloin Cachapa:
A hefty plate with a generous portion. The cachapa itself had a beautiful golden sear with a sweet corn base, soft in the center and just a little crispy on the edges. The sirloin was tender and flavorful, paired nicely with avocado slices, shredded cheese, and a scoop of sour cream on the side. There was a touch of pico de gallo for freshness. Altogether, it was hearty and indulgent without being overwhelming.

Atmosphere:
The space was casual and laid-back, with cozy lighting and enough room to relax. It felt like a good spot to unwind or catch up with friends over food that hits the soul.

Verdict:
Authentic flavors, good portions, and great execution. If you’re in the mood for Venezuelan comfort food, Friends delivers both on flavor and experience.
