Next Level Burgers at STAX
Had The Mahsun Derulo and The Colonel and both were absolute weapons. The Mahsun was stacked high with fried chicken, beef, and a load of melted cheese that hits you with every bite. Pure flavour chaos in the best way possible.
The Colonel brought the heat with that jalapeño aioli and BBQ combo, crispy chicken and juicy beef cooked perfectly. Every bite had crunch, spice, and serious flavour.
Chips were spot on, service was friendly, and the burgers looked as good as they tasted. Easily one of the best burger spots in Adelaide.
If you love your burgers big, bold and messy, STAX delivers every time.

Great burgers, great service, lovely place. Had chicken burgers and both were really good. Chips was also so good, it had a delicious seasoning.

Visited Stax Burger Co not long ago and it was enjoyable.
The burgers aren’t too over the top fancy like some places, they’re simple but taste nice and are of a good size too. Pleasing to see a place do plain burger buns; which cater for seed allergies.
The chips are great; and the drinks with refills are a great addition (not many places do that anymore).
It’s quite a small cafe/restaurant with not a lot of seating so keep that in mind if you’re wanting to attend with a larger group.
The wait time wasn’t too long (which was great), and the atmosphere is cool too.
The burgers are a bit on the pricier side, but Stax do have specials quite often as visible on their socials.
Will return again in the future when some more specials are available.

A great burger with lots of flavour and generous ingredients but it comes with a price tag, noting I did order from the ‘off menu’ which is the more premium burgers.
I definitely enjoyed my burger. I had the Burg and it was tasty with a good mix of ingredients that compliment each other well. They use a strong flavoured cheese which some might like but I found it a little overbearing flavoured for my taste. Upon reflection, I think if I opted for a more modest burger from the standard beef burger range I would probably find the cheese to be much more appropriate. The meat patties are delicious and well cooked. The chips were golden brown, crunchy and well seasoned. Loved them.
As mentioned at the start, this is an expensive meal for burgers and fries but the burgers are premium and stax’d (pun intended) with ingredients. I haven’t decided if these are the best burgers in Adelaide, but they’re surely a contender.
So I guess to sum up, great food and drinks and I wouldn’t say no if someone was offering me one. I think I’ll have to try one of the chicken burgers in future to better explore the epic menu which will help feed into a future updated review.
Final thought, the owner Zaynn is deeply passionate about his business and the food he serves and I respect the determination to seek feedback and improve their food and service. That goes a long way in this world.

Can’t go wrong with these guys burgers! They know their stuff . Unfortunately the store cleanliness let them down. I wiped over the table quickly on arrival and it was far from nice (pic) and unfortunately booth chair needs replacing due to peeling

I personally don’t like brioche bun for burgers, I’m more into healthy burgers. This one was more American style I assume, patty was very greasy but good size. Chips are frozen chips I believe! I tried this place as recommended by one of my friends but I would’ve preferred Grilled burger, healthier and better chips.
If you’re a soft drinker you would love this place as they have a deal of $9 chips plus unlimited drink.

Excellent burger place – can’t believe we haven’t had it sooner.
The Honey Bun is a favourite. The fried chicken is absolutely next level, not greasy at all. Eating it for the first time was a spiritual experience. Super crispy. Chips have heaps of flavour unlike some establishments where it’s like eating a piece of cardboard.
Enjoyed the beef burger as well, but the fried chicken here is definitely the star of the show!

Thick shakes are out of this world too. Super thick and actually tasting like what they are called. Salted Caramel is a must try!

To start on a positive note, the food was amazing, great burgers and fries and the unlimited drink refill is great value in the meal. The atmosphere varies but overall is positive with enough people to give it a nice vibe with not too many that it’s so loud you can’t hear yourself think. However, the service could use some work. When I went today (Sat 17th of Jan) there was one female worker that seemed very stressed and busy while one other male worker seemed to be there not doing anything. For the restaurant 2 workers should be enough but when there’s only one doing stuff that isn’t acceptable.
