BIT Grill and Café is een ongedwongen zaak, waar men de gehele dag kan vertoeven, zowel zakelijk als voor uw ontspanning. The restaurant’s atmosphere and décor are really nice, and the prices are reasonable. I visited the restaurant last night for dinner and ordered a medium-cooked burger with fried onions, a side of French fries, a side of salad, and mustard and mayo on the side.
After 15 minutes, a different waiter brought just the burger. I asked where my fries were, and he looked at me as if I had never ordered any. After speaking with the first person who took my order, he came back and told me that my fries would be out as soon as possible.
Fifteen minutes later, my fries arrived. I took a bite of my burger—now cold—and realized it was cooked well-done and didn’t have any fried onions in it. I called the waiter again and explained that this wasn’t how I had ordered the food. He took the plate, and two minutes later he brought back the same burger with some onions added inside, telling me, “This is how we make a medium burger (please see picture).”
I decided not to protest again and just ate the burger. The taste was that of a low-cost, frozen store-bought burger (which was most likely the case). The only thing that tasted good was the fries. Oh, and I am still waiting for the side salad.

Really really good food. I see quite a bit of reviews complaining about the portion sizes to price ratio. I had an entree and a main and was so stuffed that I requested to take the rest home and I’m a big guy. Don’t even have space for a dessert. The food was amazing, the service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. We did go when while it was very empty which made more pleasant.

Upon arrival, we were promptly seated and able to order quickly. However, after placing our initial order, the service unfortunately deteriorated. The staff appeared to be overwhelmed, and requests for additional items, such as extra napkins, were met with promises of “my colleague will get back to you,” which unfortunately never materialized. Additionally, one staff member’s approach was noticeably hasty and somewhat discourteous, as they maneuvered through the dining area with food plates, urging customers to watch out instead of navigating more cautiously themselves.
As for the food, it was acceptable but not particularly outstanding. The chicken sandwich, served on white bread, was unremarkable and seemed to be of lower quality. On a positive note, the spicy black chicken was flavorful and enjoyable. Overall, the dining experience had its highs and lows, with room for improvement in both service and culinary execution.

We had a nice Valentine’s night diner at BIT. The meat was really good, sides were okay, and the wines were pretty average. Service was good and attentive, but we were seated right next to the bathroom despite booking in advance. We asked to move, but they said they were fully booked, even though some tables stayed empty all night. Overall, it was a good meal and pleasant experience and we will be back because of the food.

We called to make a reservation, but when we arrived, we had to wait at the bar because there were no tables. We placed our food and drink orders at the same time. After 20 minutes, they came back to say they didn’t have what we had ordered as a starter (a Spanish dish).
We decided to choose another starter, which took over 40 minutes to arrive.
To my surprise, when they gave me my plate (Gazpacho), it was blended but not strained. So you could taste the tomato pieces and other ingredients.
We didn’t even finish the starter and had to cancel the second course because more than 1.30 hours had passed and we barely had the first course.
So we left without dinner because the main course took too long. And we ordered a cheesecake to go since it looked good when it was delivered to other customers.

Very good food, perfectly cooked meat, the best chips, but awfully slow. It took us at least an hour to get our steak for 2 and boneless ribs with very basic tiny “caesar” that was nothing to do with “ceasar” more like plain green salad side. Service was friendly, but ever so absent, though the place wasn’t full (as it almost always is). Location is fab, and if one sits outside it’s very cosy in the evening w Pathe cinema and Passsage all lit up on opposite side of the road, with fairy lights on trees solid, but not exceptional etc.

The staff was very friendly, but they were understaffed so everything took a bit longer which we didn’t really mind. The terrace was sunny and lovely, drinks were great, I had the ossenhass with seasonal veggies which came with a lot of dressings and sauces. The range of desserts was great, the apple pie, crème brûlée, lemon meringue and chocolate moulleux were very nice!

Unfortunately, I cannot say good things about this place. A rude and slow waiter brought us our steak (for 2 ppl) which was cold. We politely informed him, he agreed to do something about it. The was no rush to bring us our steak back. Thanks to another waiter who noticed the problem and brought our order when our lazy “waiter” was busy chatting and laughing. Pity: nice location, the food is ok, but such poor service
