Somehow this location has turned “fast food” into a 30+ minute endurance test. While customers piled up at the drive-thru and pickup window, the staff was busy holding a gift exchange in the back – on company time – completely ignoring paying customers. I sat at the pickup window with others for over half an hour just to give my order name, never mind actually receiving the food. And the staff? Not even glancing our way when we rang the bell or knocked on the window, just completely ignoring us on purpose so as not to interrupt their social time. See video of 4 different people waiting, this was already at 15 minutes in before even more people trickled in, also to be ignored.
And before anyone assumes this was a one-off: it wasn’t. This is always how this McDonald’s operates. Ordering is consistently a mess, pickup is a chore, and customers are treated less like customers and more like an inconvenience interrupting the staff’s social hour.
Hands down the worst McDonald’s in the tri-state area. The dysfunction starts at management and trickles all the way down. If you value your time, your patience, or your sanity, go literally anywhere else.

This location has to have the worst evening customer service ever. I ordered through the app and picked up via drive thru. As I approached, first few people not bad. I picked up my food and asked the lady for sauces, she was going to help when suddenly, another woman, Manager perhaps, spoke in Spanish and told her to wait. She then approached the window and asked, what do you want. I said, I asked her for three sauces. The lady said, they are $.50 each. I said, ma’am I got 14 nuggets according to sign i get three… she said, ” you have already thats it”. I said where are they, in the bag she replied. So when I checked, they just randomly threw in 3 sauces not even asking the ones I wanted. I took them out, gave them to her and requested three other ones. She rolled her eyes and quickly gave me the ones I asked for and said ok, good night. Unreal that after spending $20 bucks, I can’t get an extra sauce. Also, once I got home, annoyed already, my 10 nuggets were only 9 and the chicken wrap was broken and chicken and lettuce were everywhere. Terrible terrible service. Disappointed with the store. I do not recommend to anyone. The Chick fil A up the street is way better and customer service is superb. There, they dont give a hard time about sauces and verify your order.

The staff really need to have attitude adjustment! or learn the English language. when you order fries we’ll done little amount of salt and Manager takes old fries sitting there for 10 mins while you’re waiting for your food and dumps them into fry bin and makes large fries for your order..Big problem when you are watching and tell them fries not exceptable and the fry girl has an attitude about it.. Chicken burned and dried out on sandwich . Burgers thrown together all sloppy. ot a good experience the last 3 time here time to find a different Mcdonalds

Terrible management, giving full of ice drinks and when u ask them to take ice out and fill it they do not do it, all they say ‘ it is machine, it is machine, super rude and ignorant people working here. I was here at 11:00am picking up my food today and all the workers were not helpful at all. I always come and never had
a problem until now . I asked about the sizing of the drinks because I usually get a medium cup as I PAY for a medium drink . When I asked the lady walked away and talked bad about me in the back . I understand Spanish and I heard them talking bad about me in a different language . The manager came out and was not helpful and shut the window . I said this the most nicest way possible as I was just asking a simple question . This has to be fixed . I am beyond upset on how I was treated .

First of all, I waited around 15 minutes for a WRONG order to come! Second of all, when I was trying to talk to the workers about how the order wasnt correct, they said that the order was correct MEANWHILE I HAD THE RECIEPT OF THE ACTUAL ORDER WHICH WASNT WHAT THEY GAVE ME!! I HAVE BEEN TO THIS SPECIFIC MCDONALDS MULTIPLE TIMES WITHOUT THEM MESSING UP MY ORDER ONCE WHICH IS WHY IT SHOCKED ME THAT THEY SCAMMED ME PUT OF MY MONEY! I will most likely not be coming here ever again after that!

The McDonald’s on Route 17 in Paramus is a busy store. A good tip is when you see the line for take out is three cars passed the order sign, then that is an excellent time to go inside and place your order. The order comes very quickly, and the service is friendly. But, over the past two years, I have noticed that the prices have gone way up. I would have to compare prices from another McDonalds

So the new version is open, so obviously, it’s clean. With fewer employees and ordering on a machine, you would think prices would drop. Nope. Still most expensive one in bergen County. Not dealing with miserable people taking your order does make it better. They should have more than one person running front counter. Service got 2 stars since the computer isn’t rude.
