The place is pretty hidden with even the sign being over the business next store. However the restaurant itself is a nice cozy place with a nice bar. We particularly enjoyed the hummus appetizer but everything was very good.

Our first Visit to City Kitchen and it was ok. Making the reservation was super easy. Not very welcoming when you walk in – no one really greeted us and we were eventually walked to our table after a few minutes. Our server Maria was very nice. My son loved the fried shrimp, although the serving size is super small. My salad and salmon was just ok. Strawberry daiquiri was ok, more like a martini. My daughter thought the salmon had no flavor and i have to agree the same for mine. It was just okay for us today.

One of those neighborhood gems that punches way above its weight class. It deserves to be a lot more consistently packed with diners and bar customers for the quality of food and drink.
It’s not an Instagram trap and located in a modest shopping center where the anchors are a Home Depot, post office, and animal hospital, so IYKYK. My only request is they bring their roast duck entree back to the menu, that was my go-to and so delicious.

My wife and I have been here a few times and enjoyed it every time. Some dishes are just okay, such as the chicken Tikka Masala pizza, and others are fantastic, like the chicken sandwich or the deconstructed key lime pie. We’ve never had any issues with service and we love the menu variety! We will definitely keep coming back to try more off of the menu!

I loved the Kill Devil Hills Scallops and Pork Belly!! It was the best thing on their menu. It was so good!!! I also had their Santa Barbara Avocado Salad which was pretty decent. I preferred the avocados over the dressing they provided. Avocados are their own delight. My wife on the other hand thought her food was only okay. She had the Rochester Spinach Salad and it didn’t really exhilarate her taste buds like she thought it would have. She was not a fan of the garlic knots as well. No hints of garlic. Simply bread with parm sprinkled on top. The kids had burgers fries and pizza so I assumed they loved it.

The atmosphere and vibe was good also. Decorated for the holidays really well. The music choice didn’t fit the vibe but luckily it was so low I had to focus to hear it.
My only negative was I asked for a medium burger. See photo attached that my burger was well done. Outside of that I couldn’t be happier.
The highlight were rhe cocktails. Phenomenal!!!!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The Brazilian steak here is absolutely delicious! The wings are really good! The ambiance is peaceful and welcoming! And the customer service is top notch!
