I always try to be fair when I review a restaurant but the truth can sometimes be ugly. My wife had a chicken tender basket and I had the fried fish basket and it was obvious that the grease hasn’t been changed in a while. The fish was fried to death, fairly inedible and mostly batter. All that and two sodas for $40 before tip. You won’t miss me and I won’t be back. Sorry, I get hangry.

Nice good place to start with the first one I think I have a few more to do but I don’t know if I can get it to you or not I think I have a couple more things to look forward forward too but I’m sure I’ll get food stamps for the next few weeks and then I’ll get a job

A great restaurant with a home town feel. The food is amazing and has that home cooked vibe, without you having to cook. We have been here for many meals and the breakfast just hits the spot for an great price. The fresh fruit served was impressive but a little heavy on the grapefruit (just not my favorite). Stop and check it out before or after a hike at McConnell’s Mills!

Was disappointed we missed breakfast by about 10 minutes.
Ordered the Margherita flatbread and it was not great. the sauce was awful and there was not much fresh motz. had to ask for the balsamic drizzle. the bf’s steak salad was good though.
good, friendly service.

Comfort Food x 10! Brown’s is a little off-the-beaten-path diner/restaurant that serves good-sized portions. This is only a few minutes off I-79 Portersville Exit, so if you’re traveling between Erie and Pittsburgh looking for a place to stop to eat. I go to Browns when I’m looking for a comfort meal. I particularly enjoy the Reuben, Gyro, and open-faced sandwiches. They also generally have an assortment of pies for dessert and the occasional cheesecake. I feel their prices are reasonable for what you get.
Also I forgot they have great breakfasts as well if you get an early start in the day, and if you show up and their busy and are willnig to sit at diner type counter its off to the left of the main dining room.

I have been to Brown’s countless times in my life. It used to be a very reasonably priced restaurant with great food. However, I have to be honest, the last few times my family and I have dined in, we have been rather disappointed with the quality and prices. On one occasion, my husband received extremely greasy fries with his burger. On another occasion, my family of three went out for breakfast and the bill was an upwards of $60 before tip with no appetizers and one person did not even get a drink. Respectfully, breakfast should not be $20 per person for food that is not extravagant and there is no reason that fries should be absolutely covered in grease to the point where it is dripping off of the fries.

We stopped in for lunch and I got a balsamic chicken wrap and my buddy got a bbq bacon burger both were super well priced! We also had chili and veggie soup as an appetizer..no surprise here but they were spectacular.
The portions were amazing too!
Our service was punctual, kind, and really attentive.
We got dessert too and it was amazing as well!
If you’re in town or just driving by you must stop!

They were very busy so we sat at the counter area. We were waited on very quickly. We only had stuffed mushrooms which we delicious and apple pie and milkshakes. Just stopped for a quick bite while taking a motorcycle ride. We love Browns Country Kichen. Nice locally owned business. Always good food and service.

Meal was great. I had a specialty burger and my husband had a hot roast beef sandwich. Food came out quick and was hot. There was quite a variety on the menu. I will definitely return again.
