We celebrated my birthday here and overall, we had a fairly good experience.
First, the table was got was not really comfortable at all, meaning we were like in some sort of corner where the waiters/waitresses were always passing. Anyways, the restaurant itself does not really have a good layout. It is like an old house and tables were simply placed too close from each other. It is totally uncomfortable being side by side with the neighbor table, I would expect restaurants already knew that by now… But looks like most of them don’t.

When it comes to the food, the experience improves significantly. Des escargots et des huîtres are something beautiful for all your senses. At times it makes you forget that you are sitting on a super uncomfortable chair.
We also ordered some pasta and the boeuf bourguignon… Those were good, but nothing magic. For dessert, I was surprised that the Havre 77 carajillo was actually pretty good.

Some things here are very good, some are mid. (Which is why the four stars…)

If you eat here, the best things on the menu are the escargots, the burger (with fries), and the havre carajillo.

The ambience is fine. It gives fancy vibes (and prices) but it’s not actually fancy. I like the specific dishes that I get, so I’m fine with coming in my jeans but paying a little extra for the meal.

Small, cozy and elegant.

Food kinda disappointed:

– Mixology 4/10
– Complementary bread and butter 10/10
– Oysters 2/10 (needed flavor)
– Heirloom + Burrata 3/10 (vinaigrette was great, the tomato was overripe for my liking)
– Burger 9.5/10
Add de Chile Serrano in lime or vinegar and it is AMAZING!!!

The service was the best in my life. The salad was large so they let me order half for half the price, which was great, since I dined alone. I didn’t like the hamburger though. It was very heavy and greasy – not sure what they did to the bread but it was way too much. Did they fry it? I’m not sure. I wanted the steak frites but I read that it wasn’t good, and the burger had good reviews. Was a bit disappointed overall with a mid $30 burger, tbh. I’d probably not go back. Maybe try the mussels if you’re going. The bread and butter to start and mocktail were all good though! And the service was phenomenal!

Food is very good! Not to miss the onion soup and the hamburger and ask for the specials of the day. Service is not the best to be honest as they are always full waiters are somehow rude. And as any other place in that neighborhood is very small and in summer it becomes very hot. The only thing its that its extremely EXPENSIVE for what it is. PRICE/Quality offer is not justified at all

Menu is simple but very tasty. Music selection transports you to a French bistro. Great location of seats makes you not notice the street. Food was very well served and tasty. Drinks were powerful and very well mixed. With an attentive spot this is a great place to eat French cuisine. I will be back

This is a great place. I think it could be better, though. The burger was amazing, no comments there, probably the best burger I had in Mexico. The onion soup was just right, and they were kind enough to separate in two portions. The steak was just ok. The only disappointment were the fries: not only a total amount of like 15 fries per plate, but what was annoying is that they were bad: hardened on the outside, dry on the inside, lacked salt. Just bad. I kinda wish they served a medium rare cote de boeuf with a lot of fries, I’m sure they would do a good job with that, and that is what is really missing in this city. We also had a creme brulee that was perfect (although some of the vanilla was concentrated on one of the sides). The service is good but it suffers from the same problems as elsewhere: the servers are lurking behind a window to snatch your plate the minute you are done, and they took a glass that still had wine. Not cool. I will definitely come back.

Great french bistro. Dishes are consistently good. Try hamburger, lettuce salad and french toast! Rabbit Pasta was also excellent!
They have recently expanded to the room next door, but try and fit four people in tables mente for two which is not going to work. Would love to see a better wine list, as current one has nothing special and is quite pricy.

Food, ambiance and wine options are great. Overall a good restaurant to go with friends and enjoy a nice dinner

The best thing is the french toast which is obviously a dessert. The onion soup is amazing, and the burger, while we didn’t eat it, was highly recommended.

Solid 3.7 stars (hence 4)

Decent food & service in a beautiful setting. Some details could use more attention.

The restaurant is in the same building as Sushi Kyo. Was craving steak & frites and came specifically for it.

Started with complimentary baguette and butter. The baguette was extremely tasty, even though it was not warmed up. The butter was good, but erring on the cold side.

The salad was simple and delicious. The Dijon mustard seed vinaigrette has just the right amount of flavors.

Steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The sauce feels rather “detached” from the meat in my opinion, and unfortunately I was not a fan of how the meat itself tasted. The fries were very thin and crunchy, which is sadly also not my personal preference.

The tarte tartin is pretty good. Not overly sweet, with a soft buttery pastry base. (Think the one from Cafe Milou remains my favorite, because I like the pastry to be a bit caramelized.)

Overall it is a cute venue that would be fun for dates. There seems to be a good selection of wines by the glass as well.

Note: Came on a weekday at 1:15pm, only to find out that the restaurant doesn’t open till 2pm. ‍♀️
