Have been eating here about twice a month for a year, but we just have to stop. The food is decent enough and isn’t expensive — though we have been served frozen salsa several times — but the service is an even bet to ruin the meal. Servers simply do not return after dropping off your food. If you want more than one napkin, refills on drinks or chips or salsa or anything, ask immediately for anything you can get your hands on because you have at least a 50 percent chance of never seeing them again.

I had the chimichanga dinner. It’s not the first time I’ve had it but it seems like the food quality may have gone down a bit. It wasn’t bad, but not as good as I remember. The salsa was frozen when brought to our table. Our waitress was solid, a little brash though. I will still come back in the future to try again. They brought out fried ice cream for my father’s birthday which was cool!

First visit here
Food is amazing, well priced and large dinner portions.
They just reopened and there was a slight delay in the food delivery however the waiter was Very Very apologetic. The service he provided to us was amazing and will have us returning again.
Everyone please be nice they are genuinely trying their best.
Go visit them!

So this is the first time we came back since it reopened from the fire. This place we have missed eating at because they got great food. I don’t know how. The food was better than before! Oh it really hit the spot for us. My best friend and myself. It looks the same yet different at the same time. And the staff is still friendlier than ever. And everyone smiles and greets you. It was full when we went but still managed to find a table to eat. I loved our waiter. He was so nice and smiling and helpful for sure! I want to keep him and add another son that I already have. I told this to the girls at the register. They looked at our bill to see who I was talking about. They said oh him. Yeah you can take him home to be your son. I loved that we were joking around and laughing. They said just let him out to come back and work. And we laughed. That was awesome of them. I am so glad they’re open again. If you haven’t given this place a try. Now you should. If you have eaten here before and liked/loved it. Well come again. The food is better! This place does not disappoint. Cheers everyone! After 15 years living in Korea there is one truth I live by. You can tell how good a restaurant is by the number of people eating there. We knew as we walked up that this restaurant was going to be amazing as it was packed! We got seated as the Mariachi was playing in the bar area and the whole place just made you feel more alive! Our server Osvaldo was gracious, able to speak over the crowd without yelling, and had an award winning smile. Even though he was super busy he focused on being our server and didn’t seem rushed as he took our orders. The food was tasty and well plated, the Palomas were delicious, and the portions were spot on. If you are looking for a great place to eat in Oconomowoc you can’t go wrong eating….. Um….. Experiencing your dining needs here!

I love to eat at this great restaurant. It seems its even better after they had to rebuild after the fire. Wonderful food, spicy salsa with chips (I’m from San Diego, so I love the spiciness), and great margaritas!

We were there Saturday night around 6:30 PM. We made reservations. The restaurant is a little loud at times so having kids is perfect. We were there for a birthday and everyone had fun. The birthday person received a free shot tequila! The chips and salsa were amazing. They serve hot and mild. The margaritas were fantastic along side the Mojitos, which had many different flavors as well. My boyfriend and I shared the fajitas and the sauce on. It was so yummy. I could’ve drank it. Lol For dessert. I had to have the fried ice cream, it was delicious.
I rated the meals between $20 and $30 only because of the cocktails we had. Otherwise you could really get away with between $10 and $20 per person.

Such an incredible experience!! 10/10 will be back!! The food, the music!, THE ATMOSPHERE!!! I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants across America but this one takes the cake! When I came is was suuuper busy and we hesitated to wait, we rolled the dice and HIT THE JACKPOT!! Definitely had a night to remember! I would suggest to come early if you don’t want a long wait time.

We did a carry out order. The food was really not good. We each had something we’ve had before. The quality has gone way, way down. The beans tasted too smoky. The guacamole seemed too loose, as if there had been oil or something added to stretch it. We’ll think twice before going there again. What a disappointment!

The best spot for a sit-down Mexican meal in Oconomowoc…granted I think it’s the only one.

Service is good even though the place is always busy.

The chips and salsa are good. The chips are a little thinner cantina style. The salsa is chunky and delicious.

The margaritas are amazing and super cheap for a pitcher. Don’t order by the glass, order by the pitcher.

The entrees are very good…quality meat and hearty portions.
