My friend brought me to this little spot — I would’ve never found it on my own! A lot of Korean customers kept coming in one after another.
The menu isn’t huge, but everything tastes great. The prices are super reasonable and the portions are big! I really loved their soup, blood sausage, and side dishes. ❤️
Highly recommend! I’ll definitely come back next time. ✨

Perfect comfort food for this weather 🙂
Tried the famous Busan gukbap spot in Fort Lee!

Personally liked the pork gukbap more than the soondae one
The portions were huge — couldn’t even finish the assorted meat plate

Next time I’d just go for the pork gukbap 🙂
The combo menu was a bit meh

Very small restaurant, maybe 5 tables.

Specialized menu, always happy to try places that do their own things and do it well.

Got a bone broth soup and intestines sausage. Korean people apparently hate the interesting smell, so the intestine sausage (made with glass noodle) had almost no smell or flavor to it. They use the various dipping sauces and salt to flavor it instead.

Loved it, felt stuffed. Loved the fresh kimchi too.

It’s a hole-in-the-wall place, but the food is amazing. Both the food and the service remind me of really good gukbap places in Korea.

The portion is huge considering the price! The food is goooood, and the server lady is not rude, she is pretty nice if you try speaking Korean with her. She must be slammed because she’s the only one serving all those tables and please give her patience. Try speaking Korean with her then you can see her real smile 😉

Thank god we don’t live nearby! If we did, my husband and I would literally be going every day…
The dakdoritang (spicy braised chicken) is out of the world insanely good. I don’t know what they do to it but the broth has such a deep flavor. It’s amazing.
The pa muchim (green onion salad) that comes under the different types of meat is equally as good! Hands down the best Korean food in Fort Lee.
My friends from Busan claim this place is better than actual restaurants in Busan

The food here is really good, especially the soup—it’s rich, comforting, and full of flavor. You can tell a lot of care goes into the cooking. The restaurant itself is quite small, so seating can be a bit limited, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. A great spot if you’re looking for authentic and tasty Korean comfort food.

Absolutely delicious. Tastes just like authentic Korean restaurant in Seoul or even better. Highly recommended.

Dweji gukbap is good. I have always did take out and it was my first time dining in.

The Chinese-Korean lady with short hair was pretty forceful with how we should be seated. She literally commanded us to sit.

The lady was also packing utensils for take out. While at it, she dropped a few plastic spoons…and it snowed and was wet outside. The spoons dropped near the entrance. She casually picks it up, rubs it with her fingers and puts it back in the box to be used again. Also was coughing while packing the utensils…

This kinda gives you a glimpse of their sanitary condition overall…

I feel bad for whoever ate with the dirty spoons.

The gamjatang here is so flavorful and addictive. If you feel some way about the service it doesn’t really matter because that stew is worth it. I drive 2 hours just to get here and it’s worth it every time. If you notice all the negative reviews not a single one can’t say anything bad about the food. I wish Anthony Bourdain was still alive so I could take him here
