We tried here a year ago it was dead then too only difference was no employees just an unlocked door! This time 3:45 on a Saturday we were the only people in the whole restaurant so service was top notch but at one table I’d expect nothing less. The food was okay for either dish good flavors no complaints salsa was much better then others there spicy variety great flavor still lacking actual spice though. The paper menu has zero prices so you’re guessing without the posted QR code. In comparison it’s much more expensive then others the pitcher was $30 and the single person fajita matched in price. Upcharge on items like chicken for a burrito. Atmosphere was great though you can relax and have a good time. Overall experience was okay.

The quesadilla with shrimp was a little more than I expected; however, it was very tasty. Our service was superb – very attentive and accommodating. The chips and the sauce was fresh and crispy; the best I’ve ever tasted. You have to scan the QR code for the prices and ask if they are not shown, but it was okay. The atmosphere was very clean, despite it being dinner time. I will definitely be a regular customer.

Food was so good and the service was impeccable. Wait staff was very friendly and super attentive, refilling our water without having to flag them down like in some places. The queso was absolutely delicious! Large portions for the price (although it was slightly annoying that the menu didn’t show any prices). The music was super loud so we couldn’t hold a conversation with each other but otherwise the vibe of the place was great.

This place is amazing! One of the best Mexican restaurants around. I was so impressed. The food was authentic and the staff were super welcoming and friendly. I got the Pozole and a Sangria. The owner shared with me her story. This is a family own establishment that has been routed in the community for decades. The passion is there and it shows. I will definitely be back. Really close to STL Airport too. Great place to have drink and great Mexican food with people that treat you like family. I am excited to try some of their other dishes. You won’t find another gem like this around. My hats off to the staff and Mari. Thanks for going above and beyond even when it was later at night.

This is definitely a lounge/restaraunt, but it is also what we would call a GEM! It has the best fresh made chips and salsa i have had in a long long time. The salsa is obviously made in house with a consistency that beats any other ive had, and the chips are perfect in texture, flavor and crunch(no bagged chips here). We just got our meals and the enchiladas are delicious! The rice and beans all around complete the meal to perfection. I highly suggest!!!!

Best Tamales ever! And I eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants. The service was attentive, friendly, and experienced. Perfect portioned and promptly served. Can’t believe I’ve never tried this place before (sorry mom), Beverly Romero always said it had great food. Yep, it does!

Service was pretty great. They seem nice but busy. Handled me well. And we’re able to serve me quickly. However food is terrible. I had regular chicken tacos. It’s giving texmex. Can’t bring myself to finish and only took 2 bites. No lime or cilantro. I’m sad.

The Food was Delicious! The Chips alone are worth it! The Salsa was very tasty! It was a little pricey! But, I will definitely come back!

Food was okay but lacked seasoning. Prices weren’t listed on the physical menu — we were told to scan a QR code that linked to their Toast mobile ordering site. However, the website didn’t list the price for pitchers at all. When the bill came, prices didn’t match what we were told. Our server said the pitcher was $25 plus $0.75 for flavor, but we were charged $35 instead. This feels misleading since there’s no written pricing anywhere. Street tacos were a 1/5 for me.
