We ordered lunch from here to be delivered for 4 people. Everything arrived well packaged and exactly as ordered nothing messed up. They gave us plenty of chips and salsa for everyone. I ordered the 3 brisket tacos. It was still warm when it arrived, about 40 minutes from order to delivery. Everything was fresh and tasted very good, no complaints. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well. We will definitely order from here again in the future.

Came into lunch with my mom and our server Jesus was very nice and generous. He took his time to explain the menu to us and his favorite dishes. Manny the manager also stopped by our table to ask how everything was tasting and if we needed anything to let him know. The hospitality was amazing definitely recommend.

Had a great experience at Mi Cocina! The restaurant has a fancy and very clean atmosphere, and to our surprise, there was no wait—we were seated right away. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. I asked our waiter for a fajita recommendation, and he confidently suggested the meat over the chicken. I went with the mix to try both, and he was absolutely right—the meat was the standout! Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I’d definitely come back.

Melissa is an amazing bartender! From the moment you sit at the bar, she makes you feel welcome and taken care of. Her drinks are perfectly made, consistent, and delicious every time. She’s fast, attentive, and has such a great attitude even when it’s busy. You can tell she really knows her craft and cares about giving great service. The Uptown location of Mi Cocina maintains the same level of food quality as other locations but has its own distinct vibe. It feels modern, dare I say urban, and sheds the strip center aesthetic found in other spots. The team was eager to make sure we were cared for from the time we got there until we left. The next time HPV has an hour-plus wait, head over to Uptown for an alternative experience that may surprise you.

I’m not one to complain, but I dropped 250.00 on food for me and 2 others. I tipped 20 and my nephew tipped 10, so 30 all together. The waiter comes up to me and asked if he did something wrong, I was confused. I told him no he did great job and thanked him, he said “then why did you only top 30 dollars?” The audacity of this man! Look I used to be a waiter and I didn’t like the fact I had to rely on tips so I got a better job. I understand that this man relies on Tips, but that sounds like he need to have a chat with the person paying him hourly. I gave what I could after I spent 250.00 on that meal. I was a regular there, but I’m sorry to say I won’t be going back. I hope you guys can pay your waiters better, so they don’t have to be begging for tips.
