Today, I enjoyed one of my favorite healthy breakfasts at First Watch: avocado toast topped with a perfect portion of scrambled eggs, paired with a regular coffee, and rounded off with a blueberry pancake — all for a reasonable $28.46. The only change from my usual order was swapping the blueberry lemon cornbread for the pancake, as the cornbread was unavailable due to seasonal reasons.
To be honest, I’m not sure why the cornbread isn’t available year-round since its ingredients seem to be accessible throughout the year. Perhaps it’s not as popular as I assumed.
That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the blueberry pancake, which was generously studded with whole blueberries. My visit was made even more pleasant by my server Jenny, who was polite and welcoming the entire time.
Invited for a bday bfast. Multigrain pancake were on the cold side.
The chikichanga plate was good. The chimichurri plate was good. Caramel crunch ice coffee was good. Pineapple express drink was good. Sweet tea is always good. French toast was bland. Staff was good and friendly.
Went to the restaurant this past Saturday and thankfully, we didn’t have to wait for a table. We were seated right away and I ordered the scrambled eggs with cheese, which were pretty good and nice and cheesy.
The Million Dollar Bacon was tasty, but not very crispy. The biscuit and gravy were a highlight—the biscuit was the best I’ve ever had, though the gravy was just okay. The multi-grain pancake was huge, but unfortunately it was served at room temperature and had a long black hair on the plate. My mimosa was good, though.
I decided to take my order to go. When I got home and tried the avocado toast, it tasted old and not fresh at all. The A.M. Bowl tasted good at first, but toward the end it had a sour flavor, almost like the milk was expired. Even the fruit didn’t taste fresh.
I’ve been to other First Watch locations and usually have a great experience with fresh, high-quality food, which is why this visit was so disappointing. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this specific location.
The food was delicious, pancakes were fl7ffy as well as the eggs. I have nothing to complain about their food and their staff. We will definitely be coming back because there are so many more items we need to try there.
We popped our First Watch cherry today and wow — what a ride. It was like brunch took us out on a date, told us we were pretty, and then paid the bill.
Let’s start with the Barbacoa breakfast tacos: pure magic. I’m talking “where-have-you-been-all-my-life?” kind of magic. I paired them with the Million Dollar Potatoes, and let me tell you — those spuds did not come to play. If these potatoes were a person, they’d definitely own a yacht and smell like generational wealth.
We also got the Blazing Dragon seasonal drink — not sure if it was named after a mythical beast or a spicy yoga instructor, but either way, it was delicious. Oh, and their orange juice? Fresher than a Gen Z teen on TikTok.
Now listen. The Million Dollar Bacon? Worth every (hypothetical) million dollars. I would write it into my will if I could.
My mom ordered the Avocado Toast because she’s on that “I’m trying to be good” vibe — she added salmon and was raving about it like she just discovered Netflix for the first time.
And then there’s Tommy, our server. Bless him. It was our first time, and he guided us like a brunch Sherpa. He gave recommendations, cracked jokes, and didn’t even flinch when we asked 47 questions. Give that man a raise or at least a crown.
Now… the only thing that threw me off was the cups. They looked like they survived a small kitchen apocalypse. Like, were they in a street fight? There were scratches, and questionable smudge situations. I requested straws because the vibe was giving “don’t put your mouth here.” I get it — dishwashers at restaurants have one job and it’s not glamor. But still.
Final verdict?
