It was inncredibly busy on a Thursday morning, hard to find parking. We thaught they must have great food, we will wait! There was a Hostess at the podium outside. We weren’t greeted by anyone on the way in or out. We waited outside for 20 min, then 10 min after being seated for a server. Not bad for how busy they were. Lots of servers but nobody seemed to be checking in on tables. They would just drop the food, drop the check. I didnt see one person box their left overs to take, many half full plates left. The Pastie was alright, a bit bland, came with gravy. The biscuits and gravy were bland, not very good. The Elvis Presley french toast was disapointing. It was literally dry white toast with a thin shmear of PB and Nutella topped with some banana and whipped cream. The bread was not dipped in custard. The bakery counter was sparse, nothing caught my eye.

Bakery – yes (4 stars). Restaurant – no (2 stars).

The items from the bakery are delicious, including the coffee (but ask for one shot of syrup for flavored drinks as it is so sweet) and the cinnamon roll.

Everything from the breakfast menu looked good in the pictures, but the eggs were cold and the sausage and bacon were kinda wet actually. The pancakes we received with our meals were actually dollar sized pancakes and we were expecting full size.

The service was nice, but if you’re not one to ask for help, then you may get lost in the shuffle.

They do not let you sit at a table and order just from the bakery though…huge downside for me.

Parking was scarce.

Great local spot. They combined two of my favorites into one delicious breakfast. Corned beef hash and eggs Benedict. Wife had waffle with apple and pecans. Yummy!

Update January 23rd and 25th 2026: Everything was absolutely amazing. This is by far my favorite breakfast place, anywhere!

-Original Review-
We came across this wonderful place while coming back from a long road trip. The staff was very kind, the place is clean and stylish, and the food is fantastic. The baked goods case is filled with a wide variety of deliciousness.

I have the eggs benedict and it is one of my favorite takes on this I’ve had. My wife had the French toast and it was delicious. The home fries here are seasoned and crispy, and some of the best in the business. They serve breakfast all day as well, but their lunch menu looks great too.

Definitely stop in for breakfast!

We tried the apple bacon and blueberry pancakes. There wasn’t much flavor to either. I was hoping that I would get blueberry syrup with my blueberry pancakes, but when they brought the food they said they were out. The blueberries in the pancakes had a burnt flavor.

Party of 6 on a Saturday morning, we were seated immediately. The blueberry pancakes and blueberry syrup was a big hit as well as the caramel apple Belgium waffle. The cake donuts were fresh with a slight crunch to the exterior. The fried potatoes and the chili were a touch under seasoned. Excellent service, would visit again

We loved every single thing we got! The coffee was perfect! I got the brown sugar cinnamon latte. My friend got their blueberry doughnut and she said it’s the best blueberry doughnut she’s ever had. I got the corn beef hash eggs Benedict and it’s a must!!! Absolutely delicious!! We had to wait about 30 minutes for the table (drank coffee while we waited) and it was totally worth it. I would wait longer!!

My husband and I love this place! We make it a point to get breakfast here (everytime we visit the St. Ignace area) and a box of pastries to-go on our way out. I fell in love with hollandaise here. The Eggs Benedict Mackiac is delicious!! This is definitely a must stop if you are in the area.

This was our first visit, we had a delicious breakfast here. I had to get the blueberry stuffed French toast from a place with blueberries in the name (haha) They were delicious and the bacon was on point. Crisp crunch, and not soggy. They have a wonderful looking bakery with numerous fresh baked items to purchase, including fresh made donuts.
