One of my top 3 restaurants in Santa Fe out of about 80 or so restaurants I’ve been to in town. It’s traditional New Mexican food that’s second to none. New Mexican cuisine has steep competition in Santa Fe and in my opinion this place is the best. Very consistent year after year, I’ve tried about half the menu and everything is great. It’s nothing fancy or fine dining, just excellent quality food that’s very affordable. Besides the New Mexican food, the burger is the second best burger in town, and the breakfast is excellent as well. Best breakfast burrito in town, best enchiladas in town.

What a wonderful little hole in the wall. I enjoyed the enchiladas 2/12.00 (not rolled), with “sabrosa” green chili on the side (just a little spicy, for my pallet) so I can serve a portion more to my liking. My cuz ordered the taco salad and yummy in a fun crunchy bowl. My other cuz ordered the santa fe taco, comes in a sopapilla.

To the owners, management, waitresses, Cooks be proud of your accomplishments they give you lots of credit. From Alex and Glorimar

The food here is 95% New Mexican. The only reason I remove the 5% is that they don’t use spicy green/red chili. I grew up eating medium and that stuff was hot. The whole spicy attitude has catered to tourists which means towards the mild side. Otherwise this place is great! The food is absolutely amazing and legit New Mexican food.

I was a semi-regular, usually take out, but I probably will not be returning or suggesting Los Amigos to friends. I couldn’t shake the feeling my partner and I were being ignored by my server and who I assume was the manager or owner. I had to ask the food runner for refills, had to ask the busser for chips and salsa (which are complimentary, of which I saw my server give to his other four tables as they were sat, not after receiving their meals), and kept getting what I would call glances or leers from the manager/owner mentioned earlier. All in all, I’d still consider ordering my food to go, but may think twice before dining in or even ordering here at all.

Visited many restaurants in area. This restaurant had the best atmosphere and food quality. Service was excellent and very attentive. Authentic Mexican food and hospitality. Highly recommended. Price Tag for 3 with tip was $50.00 with huge portions in comparison to $100+ with smaller less tasty foods at other competitors. If I return to Santa fe this will be a definite food stop.

Was reccomend to give this place a try by one of our Santa Fe customers and boy did it not disappoint. Carne adovda is excellent! One of my employees ordered the rib eye and eggs and he didn’t speak until he polished his plate lol. I ordered the Mexican platter that came with one cheese enchilada, one chile relleno, one pork tamale & one beef taco. And was served with pinto beans andspanishrice. Not one complaint! Excellent. We also ordered their chili cheese fries and those were delicious as well! Service was prompt and waitresses all worked together to ensure everything was taken care of. Ohhhh and I almost forgot the best part of Los Amigos…. THIER SOPAIPILLAS!!! Oh they are easily the best I have ever had! Large soft pillows of goodness! I ate one with my meal and one with honey. DEELISH!!!
