I filed a constructive complaint in December- it looks like the staff has noted my account because they retaliated on my order again. The order I placed online (custom choice of chicken)/online receipt, the paper receipt and the actual order received were all different. How were they able to override the online/system order?
In the first incident, I forgot to stop at the drive-thru speaker to say that I was picking up an online order. It was an honest mistake, and I apologized right away, but they still retaliated on my order- gave me wrong or poor quality items- such petty behavior!
My online order was 4 thighs, 4 breasts, 2 legs.
I received 4 wings, 3 legs, 1 thigh, 1 breast classic and 1 breast spicy.
Missing: 3 thighs and 3 breasts classic
Poor quality red beans and rice item.
I thought my complaint from December was properly addressed by the management/branch owner. The employees don’t take their work seriously- very unprofessional behavior!
Will never come there and will never send my friends who work just beside in McDonalds and if the management thinks it’s just a review then that’s how you loose your customers if you have bad people working there. And if someone else reading this please don’t go and save your time from this stupidity
Everyone who works dinners here should be fired for more competent workers who are capable of doing their job. Lunch staff has always been fine, but dinner staff acts like they are on drugs. Walked in at 7:40pm for a mobile pick up. Im told its being prepared and almost ready. At 7:50 Im told they just dropped the filets for the sandwiches and it will be another 8 minutes. How did they not know what was in the order for that long? How can they justify making someone wait nearly 20 minutes for an order becuase they couldnt get the right food prepared in a timely manner? Just complete and utter incompetence across the board from every employee, and they should all be ashamed and disgraced with their complete lack of work ethic. I was literally the only person inside and maybe there was one car in the drive through. No excuses, just employees failing to do the most basic functions of their jobs. Looking at other reviews this seems to be a perpetual problem for them, and the best they can do is give empty platitudes on Google reviews instead of improving their dining experience by dumping their dead weight employees.
Last night, I placed an order, but the staff gave it to someone else. I waited outside for them to correct the mistake, and when I finally received my food, half the order was missing. I returned to address the issue and was given another bag. However, upon getting home, parts of my order were still missing.
While I understand that mistakes happen and remained respectful to the staff, what happened next was unacceptable. I took a bite of my chicken, only to find that it was dark black and inedible. This occurred around 11 PM.
The next day, I returned to request a refund. After 30 minutes of what felt like negotiating with the manager—who had to call their boss—I was denied. I was told I should have come back the night before at 11 PM to resolve the issue, which is an unreasonable expectation. After further discussion, I was offered a free meal as compensation. I didn’t want the meal I just wanted my money back.
I am attaching a photo of the chicken as proof of its condition. While I do not want any employees disciplined or fired because mistakes do happen, I believe the boss needs to take accountability for how this situation was handled. I was never going to write this untill the boss said I can’t get a refund and that I should have driven back at 11 pm. Please check out the photo below of the food I was served and consider all of the prior grievances, and how is it possible that doesn’t warrant a refund.
