My partner and I came here with high expectations for Valentine’s Day! They had a very good selection of NA cocktails. The Caliente Margarita with NA tequila was so good. We started off with the three cheese chili relleno add chips which was fantastic! The lamb chops and goat cheese potatos were also great. The steak and Brussels sprout however, were very disappointing. The Brussels were bland and kind of mushy. The steak was VERY undercooked. We asked for medium and it was on the rare side of medium rare. Very red in the middle. For a $50 dish I expected much better. We did not get checked on after the food was dropped off so we could not inform any one of the issue.

Well this was pleasant dinner, great service and really nice menu. Could have ordered most items on the menu. The tequila on the rock with salts was delicious and nice touch. The fish was some of the best I have had recently and flavors were delicious. The Churro and drinkable chocolate was a nice way to end the meal.

Limones without a doubt would be on my must-visit restaurant list in AVL. I can’t believe I didn’t make it here all these years for dinner. My husband and I loved our recent date night here and we hope to visit again soon!

The food: Exceptional!! Everything we tried, from their street corn, three-cheese chile, chicken tinga, to the maple roasted sweet potatoes – was so good. Each dish just got better and better. We also tried their fresh chips with guacamole, which were phenomenal!! so fresh and perfect. We really can’t pick favorites.

Service: The sweetest staff I have met. Everyone was so easy to talk to and super friendly. One of our dishes was entered incorrectly, but they acted swiftly to replace our order. They even brought us extra chips and guacamole while we waited.

Drinks: I was really impressed by the number of margaritas on the menu. I love a spicy margarita, and they recommended a really good one. I had the 21 Seeds margarita, which had just the right kick of jalapeños.

Ambience: It’s such a cozy yet vintage-themed setup. Perfect for a date night, family or professional gathering, or any kind of celebration.

I can’t wait to be back again. I love that their menu keeps rotating with new additions each time. Can’t wait to try more dishes soon!

We are at Limones for our anniversary and it was so good!

Our server Ella was great and very attentive, on the spot with anything we needed and more. We had the lobster nachos and a couple drinks as a starter which was really good. We got the strip steak and the enchiladas as entrees and were not disappointed, great flavors and can’t wait to go back and try more, everything sounded so good.

Only downside is add $20 to your night for parking at the Biltmore parking deck.

Limones has a fantastic atmosphere, and the bar setup is not only convenient but also beautifully displayed. We started with the street corn as an appetizer—it was absolutely delicious.
For our mains, we tried the pork chop and the chicken tinga. Both dishes completely blew my mind with their presentation and flavor. The mix of ingredients created flavor combinations I never expected would work so well together—but they absolutely did!
Crystal and Klint took excellent care of us. Their drink recommendations were spot on. The watermelon citrus mint margarita exceeded all my expectations—refreshing, unique, and perfectly balanced.
If you’re coming to Asheville, Limones is a must-visit. Great food, amazing drinks, and stellar service all in one place.

My boyfriend and I split the three cheese chile relleno, street corn, and the beef rib enchiladas and each dish was incredible and only kept getting better! The relleno was cooked perfectly and the salsas were seasoned perfectly. It’s such a small piece of the plate but the guacamole on the side of the enchiladas was the best I’ve ever had. So fresh and seasoned with the perfect amount of lime. The ambiance was so nice with good lighting and music. I wish we lived closer to come back and try all the dishes!

We have enjoyed Limones for years as a special treat. We love the cozy intimate feel and the food is pretty good. Recently I learned about disrespect and mistreatment of staff. That’s a no for me. A good manager knows that you only get quality workers when you treat them well. We’ll wait to see if this gets addressed.

Had a lovely dinner with friends at Limones tonight. They’re famous for their margaritas so we had to kick off the evening there. I had the watermelon-lime and my friend had the blood orange, I believe – both were great; not too sweet, a nice balanced flavor. We split a bunch of small plates – ceviche, brisket flautas, duck gorditas, and lobster nachos (which are back on the menu) – and we can highly recommend all of them. And we finished off the evening with churros with caramel sauce and hot chocolate for dipping, and the tres leches cake that had nuts and peaches inside – finger lickin’ good.

Our bill was around $180 for the 3 of us which, we felt, was pretty reasonable.

Service was great and our waiter was able to recommend some excellent items given it was our first time. Noise level was low and the place was pretty full so good job on the noise dampening.

We parked at a nearby garage and just walked to the restaurant; the entire downtown Asheville area is very walkable.

We have seen this restaurant a few times on the way to a show at the Wortham Theatre. We decided last night was the night to try it out before our show.

Space is lovely – minimalist design which I always prefer. We both started with margarita’s – I had the pomegranate and hubs had the blood orange. Both delicious, large and not full of ice.

We were not super hungry so we just had entrees – I had the burger, which was delicious! I mean seriously delicious. The patty was sooo tasty. I loved the sesame bun. Fries were very good as well, but the ketchup was over the top – had a nice smoky taste to it. Hubs had the braised short rib enchiladas. They too were delicious.

Service was good. Server knew the menu well, made good recommendations. I would have had dessert if they had flan on the menu.

Price was as expected – $40+ pp.

My goodness- this was SUCH a good experience!! The restaurant was recommended so we came here for my birthday and it did not disappoint! Brad helped us, and was also training a lovely young lady- he helped us navigate the menu and make our ultimate food choices. We got the flautas and Chile relleno to start and they were both solid options, but I would definitely order the chile relleno dish again- comes with chips and it just really hits right! We split the carne asada meal and good golly it was so good- cooked at a perfect medium rare and seasoned so well. The potatoes and salad were solid additions as well! We sampled several margaritas: traditional, caliente, and blood orange. They were all SO good! (I’m not a typical flavored margarita gal- but the caliente and blood orange truly were the stars here). To finish, we had bread pudding and tres leches cake- seriously one of the best cakes I’ve consumed. The atmosphere, service, and food were all amazing. Highly recommend (and I WILL be back!))
