This was our second time stopping in here while waiting for our flight. This time we only got drinks, but we ate there the first time. I recall our meal was good, but spendy. I can say the same This time about the drinks. They were good and made as expected. However the price is definitely outrageous!

Our bartender was very nice and friendly! She even offered to fill up my water bottle for me! I appreciated that a lot! The fun feature they offer is drinks to go as well! We had one drink while sitting there and took a second to have on the plane! A fun option to have!

The only dinged here are the prices. Otherwise it’s a great spot to grab a drink and bite to eat while waiting for or getting off a flight!

Hub 51 in Terminal 5 is a standout choice for travelers looking for a quality sit-down meal that feels more like a city restaurant than an airport terminal. It is frequently recommended for its diverse menu and consistent service, making it a reliable refuge during a long layover or before an international flight.
Diverse Menu Options: Reviewers often praise the eclectic selection, which ranges from fresh sushi and fish tacos to hearty burgers and breakfast favorites.
Vibrant Atmosphere: The space offers a modern, high-energy vibe that is much more inviting than the standard terminal seating area.
Quality Beverage Program: Travelers appreciate the well-curated list of local Chicago beers, wines, and craft cocktails.
Convenient Location: Situated in Terminal 5, it provides a much-needed upscale dining option for international travelers.
If you’re looking for a meal that actually tastes like it’s from a top-tier Chicago kitchen while you’re on the go, this is a must-visit spot at O’Hare

Didn’t have a great experience here. I knew it was a red flag when the entire drink menu did not list a single price. However, it was a comfortable booth seating in the international terminal with convenient plugs at the table. Server was semi-response, however the hostess was very rude and short. Beers were massive, maybe 24 oz. didn’t have a lot of interesting options but had a few cool local beers in cans and bottles. Their house-made salsa was weird, but their margarita price was ridiculous (which I didn’t know given there weren’t prices on the menu). It was $22 for a small 6 oz. glass with ice. It was strong but would not have ordered if I knew the price. 2 draft beers, 1 bottled beer, ~$7 chips and salsa plus the small margarita set us back $76 before tip.

Very friendly service and very accessible right past security. Putting pricing on your food but not your drink menu is tacky. $24 for a Bloody Mary is a 50% up charge from downtown prices.

Honestly, the atmosphere is the only decent thing about this place. First of all, in what world do 2 beers cost $29?? I mean it was an IPA and a bigger glass but I don’t think I have ever in my life seen that.

The hostess was really lovely and nice to talk to. Our server was decent at best. Super annoying when you’re trying to like enjoy family time and go on vacation so you’re not on a huge time constraint and the server comes over and says hey do you mind paying you’re my last table and I want to head out. I mean it’s really in bad taste. She also seemed more interested in chatting with the other servers than actually serving. Also, I usually tip over 20% but I was super annoyed that a gratuity was added for our “party of 6” when 4 of them were children under 10. I didn’t tip extra because I dont even know if she deserved the 20% after that trip.

2 cocktails also cost us 39, which is just asinine. Honestly, I would save your money and hit the Dunkin next door.

Very poor service. Waited patiently in line as they struggled with the volume. Was finally seated and after 10 minutes without a server, tried the QR code to order which didn’t work as it stated table wasn’t ready. Finally decided to just order our drinks from the bar, which were served in plastic glasses “to go” I guess. Sat back down and enjoyed our drinks for a few minutes until Alma ordered us out of the restaurant as we had to go cups that were meant to be taken to the food court. I argued for about 1 minute but it was clear she didn’t care about what was going on. Awful service.

“Great spot in Terminal 5 — good drinks, lively vibe, and food that’s better than typical airport fare. A bit pricey, but perfect for a meal or drink before a flight!”

Avoid going here at all cost!!!
Management need to know that the service is absolutely horrible. We were told it was a 30 minute wait. No problem. Our table was ready in 30 mins. We sat down and waited 10 minutes before anyone even came over to get drink orders. We ordered drinks and chips and salsa. 4 of the 5 drinks came out over a 15 time frame. The last drink was delivered AFTER the food was delivered because we had to prompt the waitress that she forgot it.
We waited at least 45 minutes for the food to come out
.. Including the chips and salsa. There were 3 burgers ordered at medium and as you can see from the photo that’s not what came out. But at this point our plane was boarding and we had to just deal with it.
To note other things I witnessed while waiting. I counted 5 parties that walked away never to be seated because no one was attending the hostess stand. And those that seated themselves…..Just sat never to be served.
2 servers shifts ended during our time there and replacements never showed up.
Don’t waste your money or time here.

Good array of menu items, pricing is what’d you expect at an airport. The fries were well seasoned and chicken sandwich was ok.
