Phenomenal experience at AH-SO! The food was incredible and the mixed drinks were perfectly balanced, but what really stood out was the service. Even on a busy night, we were seated immediately and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. It’s rare to find high-quality dining with such short wait times. Highly recommend!

Everything was great. Our chef did a great job.
Heck of a cool blast when the fans were engaged.

This is so overpriced. I got the filet and shrimp combo for the lunch $36. No salad. The soup had two mushrooms in it and that’s it.

Four small shrimp was all. If I had known I wouldn’t have bothered ordering that. The portions and prices are ridiculous.
Steak was an okay amount..maybe 4-5 oz?

My mother’s scallops and shrimp had more than mine and was more balanced size wise. Hers had 6 good sized scallops.
We had to tell the chef to pull the scallops or else they would be overcooked. And to pull the shrimp too. Which did become very over cooked. Scallops luckily were mostly okay.

My medium rare/rare filet steak turned out medium. Still tender at least.

I was shocked and was told 4 was normal for the lunch portions. But I don’t think the chef even knew just grabbed some. Or whomever put the meal together. This is also where I don’t like consistency and having meals prepped together. I was told supposedly there’s 10 shrimp in the dinner option. Which is an outstanding $50.

I usually avoid these places but my mom wanted to go.
My mom didn’t like the rice and said it ended up too fried.

Also ordered the calamari steak stripes. Those were good. Some were overcooked. Small portion for $16.

If you want a good meal with appropriate pricing for portions go elsewhere or order a different dish.

No waters filled either. Grill chef was nice though.

Lychee drink was good. Friend’s vodka soda was bad. No alcohol noticed. Mostly tasted like water.

It was very warm inside.

Best thing about the place was the amazing fish tank.

The teppan chef Juan made me feel things no man has before. The filet mignon? Divine. The eye contact? Intoxicating. I came for the food and left questioning my sexuality. This man just doesn’t sear steaks–he sears hearts. 10/10

I thought I wrote a review back in May, but I guess not. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the food, drinks, and vibes. We had two entrees and two sushi rolls. The pad thai…was nothing like any pad thai we’ve had but it tasted good, whatever it was. Sorry, I can’t remember what we ordered, but it was all delicious.

The worst dining experience of my life. I made a 7 PM Valentine’s Day reservation in person two weeks in advance. I gave my name and phone number. We arrived at 6:55. We were told we did not call to confirm so we were being put on the waiting list, being handled like a walk in, with a projected wait of 30 to 35 minutes. When we asked to see the manager (Eliza) and complained that our reservation was not being honored, she told us we could wait or were welcome to go elsewhere. I received a text from the restaurant saying we had been put on the waiting list, which confirms they had my correct phone number if they wanted to text me in advance to confirm the reservation. We went to the bar and each ordered a drink. The drink girl shoved them in front of us sloshing my wife’s drink partially spilling it, and turned and walked away. The menu advertises hot sake, but my wife’s was delivered cold. We were told the (cheap) draft sake was warm, but my wife’s $18 sake could not be warmed. We waited for 50 minutes (not 30 or 35) before we were told we could be seated, even though a table in view had been open for over 20 minutes. At the table, we had to ask for a utensil set-up. I asked for soy but never got it, and had to go get it myself off the bar. I ordered a beer and 10 minutes later had to ask the waitress where it was. Our meals came out 20 minutes apart. Mine came out as my wife was finishing hers. A couple goes for a Valentine’s Day dinner to eat together, not watch each other eat. I refused my dinner as it arrived two hours after our reservation time, and told them to take it off of my bill. When the waitress gave me the bill I gave her my card, and she was gone and back in 30 seconds, literally. I was absolutely insulted by the way we were treated, and told Eliza the manager so.

Dined outdoor for a late lunch and it was very relaxing, service was prompt but not intrusive and food was good. Portions were quite large so I’m glad we shared both the appetizer and meal. Also had drinks and miso soup with the meal.

Poor service. We waited 20 minutes before being attended by a waiter while other guests at the restaurant who came after us were already getting food served. The waitress didnot even introduce herself. They didnot get us chopsticks in a sushi restaurant till we asked them. Food was also cold and not upto the mark. Overall a poor experience. Do not recommend dining in the restaurant

First time here, friendly staff, and cool ambiance. Ordered a sashimi combo A, the chef picks out 10 pieces – hooked it up! Salmon, yellow tail, tuna, albacore ..possibly, not sure but it was all delish. Also ordered seaweed salad, and smelt eggs and miso soup. Yummy to my belly.
