The food and staff were wonderful here!
The beer(tried 3 different types) is pretty average for the large QC micro-brewery scene. I ended up ordering the Pretzel sticks for the starter and I loved them; very soft and warm, cheese sauce was delicious and the mustard was great. For my main course I ended up ordering the Spicy Chicken Sandwich; The bun was soft/fresh, toppings were well balanced and not too overloaded, note that they use chicken strips instead of a single chicken breast which I actually didn’t mind at all btw the breading was great, I wish I would have added some pickles on it because I do enjoy pickles on my chicken sandwiches. My wife ordered the Half and Half deal; she opted for the Half Cajun Pasta and the Half Asian Salad, she said both were very good and would recommend them, also the portions were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Received a door dash order of steak with mashed potatoes and it was drier than the outside air. Potatoes and cheese seemed like they were just added onto cold potatoes the cheese never melted. $45 later will never order again from this place. Picture as evidence…

The food was absolutely delicious. The beer was pretty good. The Granite City seltzer was delicious, I had the strawberry lemonade. The millionaire burger was amazing. I’m not usually a burger person, but I definitely wish I would have bought two. The steak was well seasoned and tender. I only recommend the nachos if you have a full table, me and my partner ate half the nachos and the other half didn’t fit in a To go container. It was a large serving, definitely worth the price. Already planning another trip to Davenport simply to eat here again.

Food was great, although I recommend getting the “petite” salad instead of the large one and adding meat to it because you get about the same amount of lettuce. We had to go ask someone to get waited on after 10+ minutes of being seated. Then at the end had to wait a very long time in order to get our bill and get checked out and there were issues with applying the coupon codes.With having a very restless toddler, all the waiting just really wasn’t ideal. Our server was nice, but all the waiting makes me not want to come back, with a young one at least.

Our server was great. Attentive, but not intrusive, sweet demeanor. We ordered the French onion soup. Lacking in beefy flavor, but not bad. The spinach artichoke dip was not good at all. It was swimming in a pool of oil, and was more cheese than dip. The pita bread with which it was served tasted of garlic in an overpowering manner. The bison burger was ordered medium rare, and was grossly overcooked. The prime rib sandwich was also grossly overcooked, and the only flavor was garlic. The garlic mashed potatoes were boring. The meal wasn’t horrible, but I wouldn’t eat there again. The garlic overpowered the taste of every dish, other than the soup. Great service can’t cover less than good food.

My husband and I came for a date night, and was not let down. Our server Kylee gave non-stop great service the whole experience. She was attentive on making sure our drinks and waters were always filled. Their French onion is literally to die for, along with their lemon lavender refresher. Both our meals were great, and very fresh!

We had a wonderful experience tonight! Our server, Cydney, was very friendly and attentive. Our food took a little longer to come out, but it was just because a very large party was being prepared before our food. Cydney checked in and kept us informed the entire time! When the food came, it was super delicious! 10/10!

I used to work at this exact Granite City! I’ve always generally liked the food. I came back here to have a dinner with my father and my brother after a few years of us apart. Our server felt it necessary to hover around and talk a bunch while also explicitly asking for a 5 star review for Google.
I get wanting to have a positive impact on your service industry position, but it made it hard to get a word in when the server was getting orders wrong, food was shorted/out of stock, and even the to-go containers were missing.
Surely if you’re missing large containers, bring more???…
I hyped this place up for our reunion because I used to work here and expected certain standards. Overall disappointed!
Also it would be great if Aaron wouldn’t ask for a 5 star review and stare at you until you pull out your phone to do the review.
