The Troy Bob Evans is a must go-to venue for me. I always enjoy their delicious breakfast options, from their meaty Sunshine Skillet to their Red White and Blueberry Farmer’s Choice. Recently, the restaurant has added the Double Meat Breakfast Taco Platter, which adds an extra level of zest to my morning cravings. I love it! On top of the food, the service is exemplary! Joel, Amanda, and the staff always treat me like family and make my day with that coffee to go. Plus, the hostess always knows where to seat me every single time. If you’re looking for a morning munch, you will visit Bob Evans a bunch!

I have been going to the Bob Evans for a long time and usually have a good experience, but today was not that way, unfortunately. While the food was mostly good, my experience to try to pay was not. Apparently, I went to the wrong line to pay (the manager was standing at a register which, unbeknownst to me, wasn’t open). She said, annoyed, “what do you need,” and I said, “I just need to pay my bill,” to which she rudely replied and pointed, “go stand behind those people.” As someone who has a lot of experience in customer service and cares a great deal for treating people respectfully, I would never dream of speaking to anyone, let alone a customer trying to pay, in this way.
I wish I could say this was the only upsetting thing about my experience. On top of this, the manager (who, by the way, wasn’t wearing a name tag), openly criticized the hostess in front of customers and other employees and mumbled about her as she was walking past customers while rolling her eyes. The hostess (whose name I didn’t get, but she was slim, around 5’6” with brown hair with some purple in it) was very positive and hardworking and friendly throughout even though her manager was being terrible. She was being expected to seat guests, answer phones, and run the registers all at once. The manager sat one table to help but otherwise stood over the hostess’ shoulder the entire time, when she could have been helping the hostess by doing literally anything else. This sort of unprofessional behavior is completely unbecoming of a manager.

We loved the skillet eggs, they were able to sub the meat for veggies, we also loved the house fries, again they were able to sub the meat for veggies and it was delightful 🙂 we will be back. Thank you !

This particular Bob Evans building was not handicap accessible. Outside doors had no electronic access and pulled out. If you are alone on a walker that is almost impossible.
The bathroom had a stall, but the sinks were so high my companion could not reach the water, soap, or towels. And again the door pulled inward to get out.
The service was great the breakfast was good.

Alex (I think that’s her name) was our server. She was super kind and sweet. Even though her section was busy, she made sure we were taken care of in a timely manner. Even with the restaurant being busy on a Sunday afternoon, we only had a short wait and we didn’t have to wait very long for our food (we were told that they were training in the kitchen for that day and Alex apologized ahead of time for any delay- even though there was none). Thank you for giving my family a hearty meal and such delightful service!

I liked it. Random wall art as I peed made me laugh. The paper towel holder was broken, which was unfortunate. I loved drinking out of a mason jar! It was a nice country touch! The food was really good!
