Coworker recommended this place. It didn’t disappoint! The food was great! Everything was fresh tasting and done right! Our waitress Lori was so friendly and attentive! God Bless her! Very spacious place! Looks small from the outside, but very roomy! There’s a bar along with plenty of seating. I had the Mediterranean Seabass! Excellent! Crispy skin and seared properly! Comes over a Greek salad. Haddock sandwich was well done and flavorful! Vegetables were steamed nicely. Also had the Alaskan Crablegs! Awesome! Nice size! Didn’t try the crabs, but everyone was ordering them. So much selection on the menu! Definitely have to make a return trip! Everything we had was delicious!

Stopped here on our way to the beach for lunch. My wife had a crab cake sandwich that was all crabmeat no filler. Could have used a little more seasoning, personal preference, but it was good. She also had crab soup that was very good. Also, I had a fried soft shell crab sandwich that was the best I’ve ever had.
Service was a bit slow as they seemed understaffed for the lunch rush. Our waiter, Trent, did a great job handling it. He stayed calm, cool, and collected the whole time.We will be stopping here again in the future.

Stephanie is the kindest, most efficient and just down to earth server ever! Sean, the owner came to check on us. He was also great!
The hush puppies and fries came out hot and delicious. The AYCE crabs were dynamite and the snow crabs were the icing on cake.

Everything about our Valentines Day dinner was magical! Food was astounding! Bang Bang shrimp is the best I’ve had anywhere! Ordered wings and they were so crispy! And get this, as I’m chowing down the manager comes out with 5 flat wings on the house because they game me too many drums! I didn’t even notice! That was old school! And the most GQ thing I ever had happen in a restaurant! Let this be your reason to try this place! We will surely be back

Once again above and beyond in service by awesome staff , crew , bartender. Great service are glasses never empty, plate always full with all you can eat crab legs. Shrimp to kill for. My god the prime rib sandwich holy moly. Even there wings no word for it crispy and best around. Are waitress was awesome she busted her rear taking good care of us and her table I forgot to grab her name but she should no me previously reviewed. Five thumbs up ( Veteran Approved) hilltop crab house rated number #1 in my book. Awesome job I’ll be back.

We made reservations but definitely didn’t need them. I ordered a pomegranate martini on their menu and they were out of pomegranate. Which is fine, except they never took it off the bill and I’m just seeing now on the receipt that we paid for a drink that we never got. The snow crabs were ok, not a lot of meat. The hush puppies were not great, I regretted ordering them. The crab cakes and bacon wrapped scallops were delicious. We were thinking 3.5 ish until we saw they never took off the $9 drink. Just a 3 and I won’t ask to go back.

Different Cheesesteak #1228. The Surf and Turf Cheesesteak – make it your own. I went on a Saturday night at dinner time. The young women manager should be celebrated and taught in schools. She chatted with customers, directed staff, and when the bar got a little backed up, she jumped in to pour drinks and take orders. It was refreshing to see her take pride in her work. I got a cheesesteak with a side crab cake. The sum was greater than the parts. The Cheesesteak was average. My Crab cake was a touch dry. Together, they were spectacular!! The cheesesteak meat and onions were finely chopped. This made them a nice complement to the crab. The cheesesteak had a sneaky good amount of cheese. It was enough to loosen up the crab cake. The Hilltop Surf and Turf Cheesesteak House!! It could be big!!

We entered here, a family of four adults, with good intentions to celebrate my father’s 65th birthday (he loves crab). Unfortunately right after being seated, the first sign that something was off, was when a waitress threw four menus and four cutlery sets on the table without looking at us and quickly saying “here you go” as she continued walking elsewhere. When the food came, the portions were unusually small for items like French fries, calamari etc. My father who ordered crab legs was never even offered proper utensils for cracking them open. Between the service and the unusually small portions, we began to wonder if it was perhaps discriminatory. As we walked out and saw the plates other guests had been given, we noticed that even a child had been provided with more French fries than our orders did. So perhaps it was indeed a discriminatory way to make sure we wouldn’t return. Regardless of the motivation, it was extremely disappointing and disheartening to have this happen on my dads birthday. Would highly recommend avoiding this place.

Wait staff was horribly slow. I spoke to the manager Sean and they were not short staff. Three separate servers came to our table which killed their coordination. Just standing by the server station taking while we waited 35 minutes to order. I had to walk over for the hot sauce I had asked for in advance. Appetizers and meals came at the same time, like the same minute. Oh my.
My lady ordered the Halibut and asked SPECIFICALLY if it had gluten on it. Server asked the cook. It was served with the topping and of course she asked again and was told, “It is just broiled on top, no gluten”, and we came home and she was sick to her stomach. Time to overhaul the process. We want to come back and be there when they get it right. Gluten can be a big concern.
(1 week later) The restaurant manager Sean wrote me a letter and made this right. We are going back soon to try again. These guys are our neighbors and, as I said, everybody had that bad busy day. Thank you Sean!!! Awesome response. Please go try their food soon.

First time diner with my family. Had an unfortunate experience with my Wife’s Crab Cakes. Found a long HAIR mixed in her crab cake! Such a disappointment when everything else was good. My wife isn’t one to complain so we were humble and left it alone as not to magnify it and ruin our meals all together.
