The food was delicious. The pork belly was so soft—it was like butter. The contrast of textures was perfect. The portion was perfect—enough to feel full but not exploded. The gentleman heard me speaking Spanish, and he gave me service in Spanish that made me feel comfortable. I will come back.

With a soft opening, this place is on point. Clean, cute, and the portions are generous. The chicken appetizer is amazing as is the bao and the ramen. The miso ramen lacked the miso flavor but was good overall. The tonkotsu was delicious. We will definitely go back.

Kanji Noodle bar was a disappointment. We came around 1pm on a Saturday for lunch to a completely empty place. There was only one person behind the counter who basically did all of the duties as the hostess, server and cashier. The side dish of kimchi and radish that came out first looked like it had already been eaten out of or sitting out for a while (the side of the dish had dried red pepper flakes all over the sides and the radish dish had kimchi residue floating in it). We got the Tonkotsu & Shoyu Ramen which were both mediocre; there was no depth to the flavor but at least the presentation was there. The Kara-age came out like popcorn shrimp, with only one reasonably sized piece of chicken and the rest were all little bits and pieces. We tasted more of the batter than any chicken. They probably serve it this way as they also offer Kara-age as a topping for the ramen. In our opinion, Kanji Noodle Bar is basically like fast-food ramen, if you don’t expect too much in regards to quality of food and need a quick ramen fix this would fulfill your need.

This month me and my wife started eating at different Raman restaurants. This was our second restaurant and really enjoyed the food. I had the kanji mystery which was a little spicy the way I like my Raman with a cream pork sauce that was yummy. My wife Karaage Donburi rice bowl which she enjoyed. We spilt an order of gyoaz dumplings which were really soft and tasty. There is a tea pace that is attached to the restaurant which offer you the opportunity to order different and unique drink options. Overall, really enjoyed the decorations, atmosphere and service was excellent.

Food was awesome. The mix between Korean and Japanese cuisine is definitely up my alley. The complimentary kimchi in the beginning was a great experience. The boba shop attached to the place is a nice touch too. Great eats for a fellow big back.

We came to this place accidentally when we originally walked into another establishment that Kanji is connected to. My husband wanted to order a tea from the other place and I was hungry so I walked into Kanji. The place was empty. It was beautifully decorated and the staff was warm and welcoming. I ordered a Miso noodle bowl with fried chicken bites with two orders of spring rolls. Wow! Delicious! And perfect on the cold and windy day we were having. We will definitely be back.

We were thrilled to their anticipated soft opening. The atmosphere is very charming and inviting with adorable decorative elements. We got to go order, even our picky toddler was pleased with their ramen.
The service was outstanding, they also gave us complementary dumplings. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was fantastic.
Cannot wait to return and explore more of their menu options.

I was very excited when I found this place. The ramen itself is good, but I think the broth could use more flavor. I enjoyed all the toppings and the pork was delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try the other types they have. I like how they have the sauces on the table to help enhance the flavor, and even serve a side of kimchi (which was a wonderful surprise, because I’ve never been served kimchi at a ramen shop before)
The decor was very beautiful and made the rover all experience much more enjoyable.

Food was so so. Fried chicken was missing a lot of flavor as was the ramen. I felt like it was just spicy, not flavourful. There was about 5 peices of clam and a handful of ground pork. I don’t think they added enough kimchi. I really like the beautiful wall art.

They use standard lipton tea which is probably the worst thing I saw.

Overall an ok joint, just not worth the 15 dollars you’re going to spend on ramen when there are better alternatives out there.

Love that I can have Kung Fu tea and Kanji Ramen at the same time. I was recommended to try Wintermelon Green Milk Tea. It is now one of my favorites. I could do with more Wintermelon syrup next time! The ramen Tonkatsu broth was good. The helpings, toppings, and noodle ratio was just right. The presentation was nice and the price was comparable to most noodle shops.
