Family-friendly pit stop for pizza, notably its tomato pies, & other hearty Italian comfort food.

Man, this place totally takes me back to the good old days! There’s something so comforting about finding a spot that serves that classic, traditional-style pizza. It’s like stepping into a time machine. There is nothing like timeless pizza. The pizzas are huge and never go out of style, and those mozzarella sticks? Absolutely Golden Brown and balanced ! The cheesecake was my favorite. This cheesecake was absolutely mouthwatering, with a rich flavor that had me savoring every bite. The texture was completely on point, and the overall execution was simply impeccable.

We like stopping by here for dine in. BYOB so we always make sure to bring a bottle of wine with us. They’ll ask you if they can open it for you and also provide wine glasses. I like trying new pies whenever we stop in. Tonight I chose the dry fig pizza, so yummy. The waitress are always helpful and give great recommendations if you’re looking for any. We went with an Oreo cheese cake for desert and it was wonderful. Always love stopping by here and exploring their menu.

Stopped for lunch! Plenty of parking easy in and out of. Server was friendly helpful and professional with a pleasant demeanor. Place was clean inside and out! The food is good can’t beat it for the price! Atmosphere reminds me of an old Italian restaurant.

Was looking forward to trying this restaurant as it was close to our hotel. I ordered a slice of tomato pie with pineapple and a side salad. Husband ordered French onion soup and a Philly cheese steak. Waitress was friendly and very helpful as I knew nothing about tomato pies
Hubby earned bonus points when he claimed my French onion soup was better than theirs. Philly cheesesteak was fine as was my piece of pie. Side salad had one olive, two pieces of cucumber, 2 cherry tomatoes, a slice of onion and lettuce. Our issue came with the bill. We were charged almost double the cost of my slice. They claimed it was the correct price but we got the menu to point out that it was supposed to be to be $3.25 and 75 cents extra for pineapple before they agreed. They stated they had a new computer system and that’s why we were overcharged. Once we had that clarified, we then saw we had been over charged on the Philly cheese steak. It was advertised in take out menu and on the in-house menu as 13.95 and we were charged 14.95. We know it was only a dollar but when you advertise one price and then charge another….it seems a bit slimy. Especially after having to point out the overcharge for the slice of pie. The owner pointed out that on bottom of take out menu that prices may be changed without notice, but that was not on menu in restaurant. I told him it’s not right to advertise one price and switch after. He said prices just went up but it’s just too much of a coincidence that we got overcharged on two of the 4 things we ordered. He did not seem to think a dollar was a big thing but it is the principle of it.
We left our 20%tip as it was not the waitresses fault. But did say we would write a review and will not be back.

Delicious! We came in for a slice and tried a traditional cheese. It had great flavorful homemade sauce with a thin and crispy crust with good cheese taste. We also tried a Chambersburg tomato pie with sausage. It was rectangle and has chunky tomato and garlic. That was our favorite. All the flavors blend so Well together. We met Donna (so friendly and helpful) and she explained the history of the restaurant and made suggestions of what to try on our next visit. Looking forward to it and highly recommend

Just a quick lunch 2 slices of pizza, old style pizza hut building now a popular pizza restaurant. Only a few different slice pies to choose from, so I went for the basic plan. Seems to me that they run the dough through a press because the pizza is almost the same thickness all the way through. This does give it a better feel when holding it, no sagging or floppy pizza. Good job on that. The sauce is more on the sweet side and not too sweet. The dough had a nice crunch and tastes good. I was glad to see or better NOT see grease dripping off the pie. Over all its a good pie. The takeout area is small and can get packed, plenty of tables for dinner. I might have to come back and try the dinner menu. The cost for 2 slices was $5.80

I love La Villa, it’s the best!!! The food is beyond amazing, I recommend you definitely try out the homemade desserts! The peanut butter pie and the cannolis are the outstanding!! All the food is so authentic and very reasonably priced. Such a great friendly staff as well and great family business! I make sure to always check out the weekend specials as they never disappoint. Most Italian restaurants don’t offer free garlic knots when the bread comes out but these homemade garlic knots are complimentary with the entrees and very garlicky! Nothing bad to say about this restaurant!

Appetizers, pizza and desert were excellent, however everyone’s main course was tough and chewy. My chicken parm was like rubber as was my friends salmon. Very strange.

My daughter had her wedding dinner at La Villa last Saturday. We were 20 people who fit perfectly in the private porch area. The food was excellent from bruschetta, tomato pie, salad, pasta, and culminating in chicken and veal entrees. We provided our own cake and wine, and the staff provided plates, a knife to cut the cake, and ice buckets for the wine. The two servers were friendly and efficient. What a great location for a small wedding! We have been coming here for years.
